Avoid - Not recieving bags WON in city!?

Won 1st place for a Massive Loot Bag in Stage 3 of a city defense. Did not have time to pickup from chest, as fighting ensued after the end of the stage.

Bag did not come. Sent in a ticket. Corresponded with a GM for 10 days and was finally told:

"Ok cheers - merging with a similar report and closing this one up. As a side note - we don't get involved with recoveries of lost items etc."


Do we know if it's best to always pick up bags from chest and take items right away? I've heard otherwise from a few other players.

I'm not a GM - I manage the bug reports and keep them concise.

If bags are missing, it's usually due to a delay in the delivery system, which typically gets solved after a reset. In your case, it didn't.

If you had the option to pick up the bag and take it, but didn't. Then I really don't know what to say.

I merged your report to a similar report suggesting there was a flaw in the IC Stage 3 loot distribution - so that the developer I assign to it can review and investigate as necessary.

My closing comment was to confirm that although these things happen, and it sucks when they do, the GM's don't involve themselves in recovery of lost items.

My suggestion - if you see a bag, pick it up. Don't rely on everything working 100%. If you have a bag infront of you, just take it.
