Delay Cities To Peak Hours
Re: Delay Cities To Peak Hours
Just need more options for aquiring invader/sov tokens. Loot from bags/zone defences is nice but maybe it isn’t enough.

Re: Delay Cities To Peak Hours
Agree, be nice if they put in something to ENCOURAGE people to stay in zones where keeps are not being taken. A lot of groups I roll with always want to switch to those zones for more RR from the flip and since everyone leaves there is no one to fight. Like once the door gets hit you get “10% more renown” in zones where keep isn’t being taken OR to encourage 6v6 (since so many saying the massive zergs are an issue and ranked seems like a bust) by giving extra rewards (renown or tokens) for those roaming the zones where a keep isn’t being taken. Give 6 man roam groups something and they help prep next zone. Just some ideas.

one else crazy idea, )). why u would not make a warlord set for rvr tokens, and not for royal crests. Now everyone misses this set, it makes no sense, becoz sov is better.
need to lead on special tokens for a long /active participation in the RVR. eg:
-quests (500 kills in a zone in a day, capture three rvr zones in a day, win a gold bag in a zone if you 80 + rr also give a small amount of tokens in there). let the sovereign remain the best set which u can get only from the city sieges, but the alternative will be a warlord, which will be a little worse, but then all players actively participating in the RVR will be able to get it. and no more will be created such huge disbalance from geared players who can get sov gear, and who can not get for some reasons( wants to sleep while sity open; working; cleaning; etc).

Re: Delay Cities To Peak Hours
yeh thats what I've hoped for and written as suggestion few times, its kinda silly to put 3 sets into city, and watch the 3rd one is obviously going to be picked as "3rd best" option for multitude of classes.Alfa1986 wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 4:25 pm one else crazy idea, )). why u would not make a warlord set for rvr tokens, and not for royal crests. Would hope for a system where Warlord gear set costs like 3190 Warlord tokens or 319 royals. With the option of gaining 5 warlord per zone toke, or a high chance of Warlord dropping from killing a higher +80 renown character, with that target then receiving an ICD block where they cannot drop more than 1 token per 10mins or so (prevent easy farming etc). With the extra option of being able to convert Conq 20 : 1 Vanq, Vanq 10 : 1 Inv, Inv 5 : 1 Warlord.
That way people can keep doing normal RVR and still keep gearing, and it should be enough to keep most people busy chasing 15950 Inv to finish Warlord, or 159k Vanq medals to finish the set, or 3.19m Conq to start gearing with that Warlord in mind.
Many would still skip the set, but its a nice alternative option, especially if you can spend your extra Vanq+Inv overflows to start gearing and maybe afford 1 piece somehow if you have already +1k Inv medals in backpack.

Completely agree with that + where are the boots/gloves drops from rr70+ players like we had on live during the PQs?

Re: Delay Cities To Peak Hours
there may be many possible solutions. as I already wrote - quests, or in golden bags from a rvr, they can also droped from killing of people who already have sov. let's say if quests are updated once a day, this way you can get 3 rvr tokens, plus some chance to get from killing and in gold bags (i think it is maximum 5 tokens per day with very active participation). if one thing costs 100-150 tokens, then this will be a long way, but at least you will see the point in participating.Aurandilaz wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 4:47 pmyeh thats what I've hoped for and written as suggestion few times, its kinda silly to put 3 sets into city, and watch the 3rd one is obviously going to be picked as "3rd best" option for multitude of classes.Alfa1986 wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 4:25 pm one else crazy idea, )). why u would not make a warlord set for rvr tokens, and not for royal crests. Re: Delay Cities To Peak Hours
We already have a system which calculating contribution when locked a zone, just add another column to the table, which will accumulate contribution for all the locks during this round of the campaign and after the reset of the campaign will do the counting. For example: For 71% -100% of players who collected most contributions will be 100% reward (If it is 9 medal winning сapital, 3 per stage, then 9 medals. Or if it is 3 medal losing capital, 1 per stage, then 3). For 41% -70% - this is 60% of the reward (by analogy, 6 or 2 medals). For 11% -40%, this is 30% of the city (3 or 1 medal) Well, and for the remaining 11% with the least, there are no rewards. Well, round off the formulas and adjust them to the rank of the capital.Wdova wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 3:08 pmThat is pretty nice in theory, but in practice is unrealistic. How many ppl stay in campaigns from T2, thru T3, thru T4 middle zones up to T4 fort zone ping pong up to finaly fort fight at 3 a.m. EU time and Capitals around 5:00 a.m.?doxifera wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 2:50 pm The city is not a separate content, it is the final stage of the campaign, the campaign in which most people participate and the rewards for winning this campaign are received only by the lucky ones who got into the scenario. Everyone who participated in the campaign deserve a reward, of course, except for those who only go to the capital and the rest of the time they’re offline or do pve, they’re sitting on a twinkle in t1. Send mail to all who participating in the campaign (in this round) who didn’t get to the capital, part of the award (depending on their renown Royal's, Invader's, Vanquisher's, Conqueror's, Officers, Soldiers etc.), the status of Victory or Lose and their contribution in in this round of the campaign.
Or You want reward those who just fought T2,T3 than logged off?
Exclude from the calculation of the players who participated in the capital scenario. They already have their medals and bags.
Well, convert the Royals for players below 70, into Vanqs, or Officers, or Invaders - into the player's level.
Feel the difference - when you go in and see that the capital has passed, and whole your participate has brought nothing, or you go in - you see a mail in which you get "For your participation .."

Re: Delay Cities To Peak Hours
No, adding sov/invader meds to campaign drops/locks is not the solution.
WE WANT TO DO CITY!
Hell, even if they nerfed the rewards in city but allowed people to do it in peak times, I'd choose that in a heartbeat.
It's about experiencing the most competitive aspect of end game, and in many ways the most fun.

Yeah it's not just about gear. My guild has a really good rvr wb up, it's fun and we're costantly getting better.
Yet everyone complains we do poorly in city.
**** ay we do half our guild members are working we can never practice or have a proper roster up.
There's such a fuss about forcing everyone to premade and get better as a group (to the point of massively nerf scenario rewards for solo queuers) and yet this prestigious "endgame content" is locked only to certain people making it impossible to actually set up for it

Re: Delay Cities To Peak Hours
This 1000x, the guild I am in was actively doing RvR every night, now we try and get a WB together every 3 nights, with less and less people showing up each time as its always stalemate after stalemate with never any opportunity to get into a City together.growill wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 6:09 pm Yeah it's not just about gear. The rewards are just a bonus we just want to be able to say get on at this time, on this day and we will have some fun.
