good change on sc emblems in lower lvls

Pretty sure that's a nerf for the upper portions of the t3 bracket, though.

Previously, you could be in the upper 30's and have a rr of 40-50+ and get conq tokens (iirc). This would help you with a) catching up on officer stuff / getting a 39 weapon, or b) getting a few conqs under your belt to help transition into getting your **** pushed in when you hit the big boi 40 bracket.

no, previously you got Soldier emblems in T3 scenarios even at lvl 39 and RR 40+, now you will get officer. The rewards from the quests are unchanged in this patch though. Not sure if they fully line up with this.

Oh, perhaps I am thinking of the quests, then.

Idk if its the power of suggestion but I feel like the game has been running smoother for me today. Then again I have been playing an alt while 80% of server pop is in the forts or pre-fort zone.

Tbh I think CR37ish+ guys should be rewarded with conq emblems by default. With or withour RR40 — that doesn't matter much because nowadays people are usually way ahead with their renown rank.

That along with oRvR loot tables. Pre CR40 guys get vendor trash gold and purple bags even with RR40+. I remember getting a gold bag on my then 39/43 WH with one xp bar away from 40. There was some useless item in there. And it feels like going into T4 with anni/merc isn't exactly a good idea.

It currently makes sense to grind RR50 before hitting CR40 because that way you'll get your gear currency sooner than later. But that's a pretty sick grind imo. If you're around 40/40 then you're screwed.

I'm currently stuck with another 39/41 character and I have no idea whether I should keep going or delete to start from scratch as he's about to hit CR40 with literally no conq emblems/medallions as I leveled him to this point ages ago.

It's strange limitation to put urself.
thru all my toons i never delayed xp to catch rr. I rush CR40 then SC to RR40 then orvr. gear and rr will follow eventually. skill and tactic is first and learning class.
I know It's wide spread method to find best time/reward ratio. but if it ruins your fun, don't do it.

yeah a boon, would have been CR36/40+ to start earning conq emblems. But this is a step in the right direction. Now to upgrade ORvR currency and gold bags. Maybe tie the gold bags to ToK unlock instead of rank. As a lvl 37/51 character, I have 0 use for another annihilator chest plate or boots or gloves etc. Good progressive changes tho.
