Client download issues and troubleshooting

Is your launcher in the same folder like the WAR.exe and not in a special folder?

Run launcher as Administrator, make sure the FOLDER (not the launcher!!!) isn't set to "read only".

This can be done by right clicking the game folder > properties > uncheck "Read Only" > OK.

Sorry that its me again and if i am annoying you, i am very sorry,
I had the popular torrent problem so i downloaded the 5 mega-parts and i have WinRAR also. After downloading the parts, i have put them into a folder and unzipped them, every part is in the folder and when i started the launcher, there stands:

An error occured,
FileCouldNotFound: the data C:/Users/Downloads/WAR.exe could not found


I have clicked on the download for the mega downloader too, but i have no idea what to do with it when its in the folder when its ready. I looked to Gizniks video but he already had the mega downloader so: what do i have to do

So you need to extract the game from the compressed parts? Start by double clicking on the part which is named "Age of Reckoning client.zip", and drag + drop the game folder to somewhere, like the desktop.


Once the game has been extracted, you need to put the Return of Reckoning launcher inside the game folder. Once it's inside the game folder, run it as administrator, and enter your forum credentials.

Your computer isn't showing file extensions, so that's OK. Just open that file, and the game folder will be inside it. Drag and drop it somewhere onto your computer (desktop usually a good place to do it).
