Engi Rifle sound effect

The rifle is so much louder (and annoying) than all the other sounds there is no level of volume that really works, you either mute the game or you deal with it. Is there any addon to remove or reduce the rifle sound effect, or any other way to achieve the same result?

It is your Rifle. You love the sound or play the wrong class. :)

no I am playing the right class, Swordmaster, but I still have to walk next to engis, and there is plenty of them
