Server is not authenticating, and crashes within 30 seconds.

I type in my info into the launcher and get past the loading screen into the server authentication zone. The little box that presents that you are authenticating remains empty after 30 seconds of waiting it crashes with a "Critical Error" "Authentication failed -- application will now terminate." It has been doing this for 2 weeks and I have tried new accounts, and I have waited patiently for a new update. The next one seems to be T2, and I was hoping to get a bit more lair runs before than.

You need to rebuild performance counters.

How to manually rebuild performance counters:

1. Go to start, and type in the search box "cmd". Right click cmd, and run as administrator.

2. Type in the command console, "cd c:\windows\system32", and hit enter.

3. Then type "lodctr /r", and hit enter.

3. It will take a few seconds to perform the command.

Performance counters should be rebuilt. Try loading the game, again

Have you tried restarting your computer, and trying again. It's possible another process had access to the file at the time and it was denying access to it.
