[WL] Approaching 40 - gear?

I'm approaching level 40 and on track to get my conqueror set. While I work on my conqueror weapon and vanquisher armor set, what jewelry should I be shooting for? I hear people looking for Gunbad and C&T groups - do those dungeons have any gear I would need?

It's better to get the genesis set from bags, and focus on RvR to start farming your vanq/inva gear. I mean the set is pretty good, you'll need to change your jewelry later (I'm full invader working on my sov gear, I still have the genesis set)

This is pretty respectable, and fairly easy to get. Plus you can get rid of one of them in favour of the Beastlord ring later and still get the two better set bonuses.

I've seen/heard of beastlords. Is this something everyone goes for? How does it stack up against vanq/invad gear?

Beastlord is very early r40 set, but it is kinda special. It consists of Helm+Chest and Cloak+Ring+Pocket item. https://wiki.returnofreckoning.com/inde ... stlord_Set

The last three you'll pretty much always be able to have equipped so as you upgrade your armour set, you'll still be able to enjoy the 3-piece bonus of Beastlord for some extra stats.
