Pc restarts itself after...

So I downloaded your game to revisit and play on your server,and I had fun! For a whole 50 minutes before my pc restarted itself.. It's not overheating and your game isn't really using lots of my ressources to run. This has happened 4 times during gameplay. It happens rather randomly and I've got no clue as to why. I've had one session where I managed to play for hours without any issues. This also only happens to your game, not having any issues with more modern games like Monster Hunter World, Witcher 3(more demanding games). I just want to play my first mmorpg again, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

I'm not the best when it comes to pc components or quality setups but I'll do my best to show you what I've got:

Intel Core i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz
8.00GB RAM
Geforce GTX 1080
I'm on Windows 10 64bit

Hey there,

I work in IT with about 10 years of experience in end user support. Sounds to me like a driver issue, if i had to guess i would say video card related. Do you get the blue screen of death? Should be stop codes if so, they can sometimes point you in the right direcrion if you search online for what they mean. If nothing else, i would make sure you're on the latest drivers for your video card and see if that helps at all.

Hey Scud,

I am not getting any blue screen or any type of warning at all. Pc just simply turns off and instantly starts to restart as if I pressed the restart button myself. I tried the audio.myp fileswap fix and just had a 3 hour session without issues. I'm hoping that maybe this fixed it. Also I am on the latest drivers due to a problem I had with another game (Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launch), pushing me to always be on latest drivers.

I can confirm that the problem still persists. I managed to play an entire day for a very long seesion with no issues and now today, it randomly happened again. It's so disheartening for this to happen, seeing as I'm in discord with friends and we're having a blast, till my setup just randomly restarts.. Especially for it to be happening over such an old game I was confident wouldn't have any issues running on my setup.

How old is your PSU?

As old as the PC, about 4 years give or take couple months. I don't know how this correlates to my issue though, seeing as it literally only happens to this game, never happened before on anything else.

I used my old laptop to piggy back the files from a buddies place (my internet is slow and sucks..) The laptop did something similar when I launched the game, soon as I tried to advance past the character selection screen it would just die almost the way you describe. I just attributed it to my old lappy having some issues and never really planned to play from it anyway. I'll do some troubleshooting on it. Maybe I can come up with something

I found this weird solution which seemed right in my head. I recall playing other games with a controller on my pc. After I was done with that I usually unplugged my controller and went on with other games. But during this problem, my controller was plugged in. Apparently unplugging my controller helped out with this problem, due to controller using lots of power to charge up whilst playing Warhammer. I found this ''solution'' as I was scrolling through these forums. Some other guy had the exact same issue as me. Way later down the wall of text some guy said to check out USB units and see if something is dragging power.

TL;DR.
Unplugged my controller from the USB inputs and had a 6 hours long session yesterday with no issues! Hoping this was it!
