If you meant the question exactly the way it was asked (strictly melee DPS) then Marauder is easily the most survivable of the three. If you wanted to include classes outside melee DPS but specced for DPS, then Zxul is pretty much right (along with maybe a DPS DoK.)

Depends on the type of fights you are talking about... Large scale? Sc's? solo? Premade? Pug?

For most the answers its Marauder at the moment in a straight up fight.

Double stealth witch elf needs to be mentioned also even if class is squishy, double stealth allows strong escape mechanics to "survive" a lost fight.

I see a lot of 2 handed BO around and, having tried it myself in entry level gear I can definitely see the potential for damage in off sov/warlord.

I also feel like my impact is very limited in a SC as a SnB Waagh BO and completely rely on teammates for DPS while I can apply quite a bit of pressure as 2 hand all the while still guarding an mDPS.

You obviously have more playtime on the BO than I do so what makes you say 2 handed "pretends to DPS" (I assume it is derogatory)?

- chaos absorb tactic
- all the + hp per second gear you can find
- mixed defenses for the easy +50% parry on shield block

...would be the most tanky class out there that can still put out respectable damage. But what kind of idiot would spend all those royals and not go 2H for the extra pew pew while missing out on the only real AoE damage a Chosen can bring?

On my snb dps chosen its:

- chaos absorb tactic
- still using 5 conq/sent chest for easy hp regen, over vanq
- ap regen gear
- backlash
- ap aura
- dmg aura
- spirit dmg tactic

Tanky, and only thing that I can't kill 1v1 are dedicated healers who remember their detaunt.

Guess my joke didn't translate to text well. Yes, I am full sov/warlord running around w a shield and 100% str talismans. Its entertaining watching people try to kill me....
