Re: Patch Notes 23/09/2020
This is some great stuff for all my alts! I like the change on invader ring requirment change particularly. Sucked when I was doing that back when, but good on the new players working it now.

Re: Patch Notes 23/09/2020
Hi, as someone how almost never PVE, I wonder what this means:
” Stalwart Soulstone no longer decays.
- Both Stalwart Soulstone and talismans bought with it can now be stacked, maximum stack size - 40.”
Kind regards
K

So I'm sitting at 59k/62k influence for the sent ring with the change will it work retroactively and I'll be able to collect it today?

Stalwart Soulstone is item that you get from dungeon quest - with it you can buy epic talismans. Now both this item and epic talismans (except ones that give crit - those will be stackable after next patch) can be stacked up to 40, as normal ones - previously they were 1 item for 1 inventory slot.

Re: Patch Notes 23/09/2020
Not too impressed. But not too surprised either.
Invader / Royal drops from players in oRvR is long overdue addition. Thank you for that. However, making them into shards, that require 5:1, almost nullifies it. A careful guess is that this will overall net the sum total of 1 Royal / Invader medallion per week - and probably even less if you don't have the time to play every day.
It is even more nullified by the loot nerf to losers in City sieges. I'm amazed that this has even been introduced, given the statically proven and on-going City dominance of one realm over the other - i.e. Destruction winning overall in approximately 90% of all City sieges since day 1. I know this will get all the self-perceived hardmoders gunning off with "Order sux!" arguments. But in reality it screams unaddressed balance issues between the realms - and punishing losers with even less rewards will only widen that gap.
Bottomline: Leave City loot as it were - at least until you get a more even overall win-lose ratio between the realms. And make full Royal / Invader medallions a drop chance from players of the appropriate rank. It worked fine on live. It would also be a huge step in the right direction towards alleviating the existing gated and time-slotted progression barriers, which have resulted in huge parts of the population becoming City-loggers. Make oRvR be a viable means to a steady and continuous progression for all ranks, with City sieges the juicy cherry on the top.
