Classes by tier

How are the classes by tiers from good to ****?
Why do I feel chosen is just garbage by general rule unless there is something I'm missing.

Low tier means nothing and every class can be OP in tier 1. It must be you or your equipment. :P
Dying is no option.

Yep you are; chosen is one of the few class that is not only viable at every tier of the game but also useful in both PvE and PvP

your doing it wrong if you think otherwise

I think the problem is you dont quite understand the role of a tank, good chosens will hardly be noticed as what they do currently in t1 is to keep any threat for example a mdps pushing to your backlines etc snared all the time making it hard for them to kill anyone and to switch guard to anyone who is being beat on. Ofc if you go the 2h full str route you will die while doing less damage then a dps and not protecting your team as that is a chosens main role, dont think your a dps work on protecting your team.

I presume that u know these 3 things to play Chosen/KoBS. If u dont, is most likely why u think that the class is bad:

*U can have up to 3 auras activated at a time, just click them and they are activated. The tooltip havent been updated still, but u can sinc Azarael changes to avoid the mandatory use of an addon. Choose properly the place whr u are in the battle to either buff ur allied party with ur auras, up to 100ft, or debuff ur enemies with them, up to 30ft. Situational awardness is required. Charging senselessly in the enemy line is NOT the tank duty. Charging usefully in the enemy ranks is it.

*Use a shield. Really. Use it. Dont go 2handed weapons in these classes in low-tiers. U can even block dmg aimed at ur guarded party member.

*Guard wisely. Just dont throw away ur most powerfull group skill randomly to a person that is gonna get u killed, remember that u are taking 50% of that person dmg. At a time, save ur party members that had done their work and are struggling for victory. Situational awardness is required again.

also to add on to what otto said always have tough, str and resists aura activate, spam tooth of tzeetch when in off cd for that damage bonus to your grp, with a snare with 5 second CD and a 7 second duration you can keep 1 target perma snared and lastly ravage is your strongest damage dealing ability that chosen has so always use that for attacks in t1 as defesive stats are not that strong atm and furthemor your resists aura debuffs those resist stats

And remember that guard has a range... It's not fire and forget :)
