My opening menu is failing to connect to the servers.

Hello, I am sorry if there is already a post on this, but I did not see it:

My opening menu works 50% fine, it has all of the options like settings and cinematics, but! It will not load the server, and there is just a blank, black box on the right of my screen, where it should be saying about server connection. Since that will not load, I can not play the game.

If anyone has had a similar issue, please tell me, or even better, if you have overcome this issue.

One important thing, I have played Return of Reckoning a lot of times, I have a level 12, so, why is it happening now?

If you're getting this line of code in your error log:

You need to rebuild performance counters.

How to manually rebuild performance counters:

1. Go to start, and type in the search box "cmd". Right click cmd, and run as administrator.

2. Type in the command console, "cd c:\windows\system32", and hit enter.

3. Then type "lodctr /r", and hit enter.

3. It will take a few seconds to perform the command.

Performance counters should be rebuilt. Try loading the game, again.

Right, it said on the CMD thing, that there was an error:

"Error: Unable to rebuild performance counter settings from system backup store, error code is 5".

I tried it multiple times, but the same thing kept on happening.

hello i have same problem. even after this console rebuilt i have after entering the laucher occured problem, but the game is running. but it looks like on the pic above :/

How do I do the CMD as the administrator, my CMD looks just the same, but without the word ,Administrator, at the top.

Hey ! I had the same issue but tried to tick "run as administrator" on every important file (RoR launcher, WAR.exe and the data files in your warhammer folder) and it worked, I've been playing normally eversince. Hope it does the same for you !
