Last time I checked, both witch elf and black guard were destro classes :)

yes order does have that, but it is SINGLE target and it is a global cooldown... The chosen just sits there and follows the melee ball, and reduces the order wb dps, just because the chosen is there. No abilities needing to be pressed, no Decision needing to be made to put that -25% crit chance as it applies to anyone critting the chosen.

Yes a single chosen in a 24v24 city fight might be able to get spotted and identified as the debuffer, you can put an enemy marker on him and assign someone to control this chosen. Just like with any Slayer in the same enviroment. This issue becomes when these meta classes are "stacked" and several run these troublesom abilities you need to control. Snarebreakers/rootbreakers and CC immunities make it hard to control one loose Chosen/Slayer, let alone several.

This issue would not had been as bad had the new Chosen tactic been on the least popular tankclass, just like if Rampage had been on a WH.

No the raw stat value is absurd on its own, and the way to deliver it is even easier making this tactic insane. And rightfully should get reworked into a way smaller procentage (devs even admitted more than a 50% nerf on the value) That speaks volume when the first alteration needs such a downtuning.
As I said in my first post, the identity of the chosen as a damage-debuffer fits in on this career. Instead of trying to tackle critchance, as that will hurt melee classes and BW less so, maybe get this tactic back on the drawing board and make it something more well-rounded like "each time the Chosen takes a critical damage intake(internal cooldown 5sec) his Challenge ability is reduced by 2secounds" or something like that. Raw damage mitigating hits all damagedealers on order equally, critchance reduction would just be annoying on BW and destroy slayers+mdps in any damage output.

I'm glad you have the intellectual honesty to agree Slayers/Rampage is a problem. Destro indeed has to deal with trying to shatter Slayers to stand a chance but, as you rightly point out, "This issue becomes when these meta classes are "stacked" and several run these troublesome abilities you need to control".

Anything Order has to "control" from a Destro comp these days?

Leading Shots = 8% Chance to Crit (100FT)
Dirty Tricks = 5% Chance to Crit (100FT)
Grim Slash -80 Initiative Debuff = Approx. 5% Increase Chance to Crit target. (No CD)
=
18% Chance To Crit Target.

Sad part is... this really only affects Zerglings, not any serious premade or 6v6 group. Since all you need is to save chosen until last.

Punish the Chosen for wasting a slot by smart play.

Making it "Defensive" as opposed to "Offensive" was the right move. Offensively it would have mainly befitted aggressive skirmish engagements ala 6man or 12 man setting.
Destros problem is defensively orientated, which unlike the Knight with Dirty Tricks it did not have a proper counter to help the Warband survive defensively in the Keeps/Forts.

Destro gets annihilated in defensive forts/keeps, hence why very few WBs outside of EU actually defend them. This is a defense fix, not an offense fix, which is what destro needs.

There are no true mirrors which is what I meant. Alot of similar abilities and spec lines but there is are no 2 order:destro "mirror" classes that are exactly the same.

I can't believe catholiscism198 just said this game takes barely any skill... Unreal. It's almost like the sole reason these people play is to get free bags by using the least amount of work and stress with warbands and zergs. Amazing.

We did this to ourselves. We cultivated this mindset. Easy rewards, small effort. Amazing really.

From perspective of a healer (order side) this change is insane.
the debuff is nearly a perfect cover for all debuffs. since this is cleanseable you don't have a chance to clean any other debuff like armor/heal/life/etc... debuff. only with great luck you can cleanse an important debuff now. plz make it not cleanseable again, or remove the cleanse from order side, because the cleanse is now absolutly nonsense on order side.

Never forget the time order whined so hard they got the devs to rework a buff literally the same day it came out, without testing or anything. But its okay, destro are the biggest crybabies on the forums.

Ouin ouin we lost 2 fort chosen are op ouin ouin destro get massive win in city cause chosen. thx order, but for you its normal to get melee train slayers rampage no brain and absurb dmg BW aoe when destr are nerfed to the ground and dont have equivalent abilities .

The good point is this new tactic just broke the actual meta and its a good thing.

So please stop be kids to cry everytime .
