Fort Tracking One Month In
Re: Fort Tracking One Month In
its well known that destro trow fort defense for city rewards. Order tend to defend fort for some reason. Might be because order easymode, or its because destro win more city instanses so that motivates trowing defense.

The pattern is pretty clear by now, Destro have a legion of small scale heroes which makes them really fast at running supplies and levelling zones to push to Forts, but without proper Warbands you will never get much further, a horde of DPS Shammies isn't going to help much.
Re: Fort Tracking One Month In
Outstanding job collecting all this data. Lets take a closer look at the last month's data...
A: Reikwald Fort Win Rate
Destro - 22.73%
Order - 77.27%
B: Stonewatch Fort Win Rate
Destro - 58.82%
Order - 41.18%
C: Shining Way Fort Win Rate
Destro - 55%
Order - 45%
Which one of these is not like the others?

Theres always one...both sides zerg. Get off your high and mighty horse. Play late night NA eastern prime time where order has 160 vs 40 destro. You biased simpletons can only ever see one side of the coin and think your side is perfect and does no harm...everything you accuse one realm of doing, guess what, the other realm does the exact same thing.billyk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 7:33 amExactly. Destro can only zerg. That's why you often lose in fort - cap on numbers. That's why you win more often when you attack than when you defend - defensive zerging isn't a thing.
If Destro was actually weaker than Order, you wouldn't make it to fort in the first place because you'd get creamed in oRvR, but as we can see from the statistics, Destro attacks forts more often than Order. Why? Because you can do your 100% AAO zerging in oRvR where there is no cap on player numbers. Then you go to fort and fall apart because you suddenly don't have 2x the toons that Order has anymore. That's the explanation for the data here.

Were working with what we have at this point. With all the recent changes a ton of destro stopped playing. I used to tank for a badass group of 6 and roam a lot. All stopped playing. My guild used to be able to pull together a 12 man pretty nightly. Now were lucky if we get 2 on every night. Destro NA is bleeding numbers. It is what it is.Gurf wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:10 am The pattern is pretty clear by now, Destro have a legion of small scale heroes which makes them really fast at running supplies and levelling zones to push to Forts, but without proper Warbands you will never get much further, a horde of DPS Shammies isn't going to help much.

One realm can only win when heavy outnumber the other => yeah, looks balanced.JarlBerzirk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 10:17 amTheres always one...both sides zerg. Get off your high and mighty horse. Yeah i didnt even bother to touch on that because if a person cant pick that very flawed issue out of their biased "argument" then they aren't even worth engaging with.emiliorv wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 10:22 amOne realm can only win when heavy outnumber the other => yeah, looks balanced.JarlBerzirk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 10:17 amTheres always one...both sides zerg. Re: Fort Tracking One Month In
Well, to be fair, orvr has always mostly been determined by numbers. Typically, the outnumbered faction can only defend when the population is large enough to have enough players in the funnel and then to some degree cancel the attackers number advantage.
Forts, and to a lesser degree keeps, act as a way for the outnumbered faction to have a chance.
As Nuada pointed out, it would be interesting to see stats divided by timezone as my personel experience, mostly playing EU primetime, is that fort win rate as attacker for destro is not even close to 50 % during that time.

I love how out of 22 Maw destro didn't win any
And how Reik win rate is half compared to other forts when attacking.
Human/Chaos zones really seem in the right place. Working as intended confirmed
