hello, i have a problem when i launch the game i have error critical message "authentification failed--application will now terminate" 3 days that i can't play, i launch "RoRlauncher" what i can do for that?

Run launcher as Administrator, make sure the folder isn't set to "read only".

This can be done by right clicking the game folder > properties > uncheck "Read Only" > OK.

I was having the same problem, tried the suggested solutions, and didn't have any luck. By suggested solutions, I mean running launcher as admin, un-checking read only for the game folder and propagating permissions for all subfolders, performance counter rebuild, turning off windows firewall/defender, and I even adjusted the authentication failure period from 24 to 48 (hey, I was desperate...) and still no joy.

What actually DID work was deleting (actually, renaming as backups) my texture cache folders. e.g. cache -> cache_bak and cache_test -> cache_test_bak. I have no idea why this worked, but I remember having to make adjustments to delete my texture cache files upon startup when I was having trouble with Dragon Age: Inquisition a while back. Once that was done, my next log in was successful.

Anyway, just another thing to try if you're stuck and have tried everything else. Good luck.

It's that big download button at the top. I downloaded the 10 links, you unzip the main .zip file and it should grab the rest of them. Use 7zip. Make sure you have at least 16GB free as it extracts into your temp folder and your game folder using twice the needed install space.

If you already have the most recent patch of the game, skip to step 6 on the second page for the RoR Launcher.
