New but old, would appreciate some answers.

Hello fellow players, in general, and chaos brethren in particular. Happy to see WAR alive, it have been almost 12 years since I played it. Now after dicking around for about 1 month with various classes I have decided on a Magus and I have some questions so please lend me your ears. These are not only Magus questions hence the topic here. I've also tried to find the answers by searching with google and browsing this fine forum but alas I could not find the answers I was looking for. So without wasting anymore of your time:
1. Is Daemonic Reach tactic from the Path of Changing tree broken? My range keeps resetting after each death/zoning and only removing and adding the tactic solves it for a very little while. I have looked in the bugtracker and it appears that it was solved but it still isn't?
2. I don't remember how renown used to work in relation with the character rank but I am now at CR30/RR45 and I can only use 30 points of renown. Am I capped at my character level until I reach 40?
3. From what I gather so far Gunbad is still done but are the rest of the PVE dungeons done reliably and will I find groups as a Magus?
4. As a Magus but also in general, what is the difference between toughness and armor and why should I slot one over the other when going for a more tanky spec?
5. Is there an addon that helps with having a better idea about what is at what range? Like (if you played Eve Online) having concentric circles around you at various distances.
6. Chaotic attumenet is also bugged Are there any workarounds for bugged tactics? Are only the core tactics safe to use?

1. bolster breaks some tactics, need to reslot it every now and then (going from scs to RvR in general)
2. All renown ranks unlocks at around CR 32 (can't remember exactly, but around there)
3. Gunbad is 32+ here, you get bolstered to 40, and there's a "ward" system, where you have to equip full redeye before you can use sent, which is needed before bloodlord (that's as far as we've gotten so far PvE-wise), so yes people still run Gunbad to get their "ward", though you can run all dungeons before you've equipped previous set (on rank 40).
4. armor mitigates up to 75% of physical attacks, toughness is a pure -dps (int/bs/str).
5. there's a range addon that's pretty bad, can't remember what it's called (range meter? something like that) that you can find on idrinth's addon site (exists link to it in the addon thread)
6. Unequip -> Re-equip, sometimes after leveling you might need to relog (yes it's a quite annoying bug while leveling).

Thank you for your answers. So most bugs with the tactics will be "solved" once I hit 40.
