Squig Herder damage would probably be fine if the class didn't have more utility in any spec than nearly any other two classes combined.

For some it is. It reduces dmg by 50%. So w/o the sc buff anybody can obtain he would eat up 1500 crit under detaunt. Big deal apparently

HP sc dmg buff is 100%, x2 dmg.
so it's 2986.
pretty high but not impossible.
perhaps you got debuffed a lot?

my record of SW fester was 3.1k against low lvl SH non-debuffed. though i was BiS.
dang bolster is scary.

He didnt even use a spiked squig nor moral on me. So damage could have been even higher. A lot higher. He was just putting dot, 2s cast, finisher, done. Every noob could have done that.

oh 5972 was timestamp dmg, didn't check screen tbh.
so poison arrer was 3729. that's 1864 in normal.
poison arrer + extra toxic coatin + finish em off + pre dot + pet
yea that's nasty combo.
if still alive, behind ya. only in theory.
haven't met target still alive after that combo, except premade.
cuz combo start at less than 40% hp.

6k>1.5k is not 50%, so it's for nobody. But yeah, sure, without the scenario buff and with detaunt it would be 1.5k... which still isn't negligible for a R33 detaunted class.

You're right, its ridiculous.
As an AM pov, this happens sometimes, not only with the sc buff, they dont need it, when I see a SH is about to pounce on me, I detaunt, preHot, and he still do to me more than 8000 damage in 3s (exactly on a screen 8666 in 3s). Because of git em! + squigbeast morale 1 OP (WL dont have this morale). Add a KD they have of course, and you litterally cannot do something to survive.
I agree, its well balanced... But surely works as intended.

The enemy team caps both flags. You are supposed to notice this. Right at this time, you have to prepare for defense, e.g. not being in close range fight with multiple enemies and use distance or LoS to minimize threat from enemy rdps.
The damage buff isn't instant, use your time to deal with it, when your team fails to control at least one objective.

The damage numbers are fine, considering the damage buff.
The rank 33 SH isn't rank 33 in sc, so rank difference doesn't matter.

Armor and wounds appear rather low to me for that rank and gear. What talismans you are using?

Any dps class becomes a monster against unprepared opponents, if getting x2 dmg buff and enemy having no guard or detaunt ready.
