Hi all, my brother just started downloading this and he said his internet shut down and the only way to get it back up was to delete the torrent. is this really safe to do?? thanks in advance

There is absolutely nothing scary, spooky or otherwise malevolent contained within the official download, thousands of players can attest to this. Just ensure you're downloading the 'official' launcher from this website and you'll be golden. Any internet issues are more than likely on your end, hope to see you in RoR soon!

If you used some weird torrent client to download we can't guarantee anything with that. Tixati is recommended in the Install Guide linked at the top of the forums.

might be also that the torrentclient just has too many open connections, so your internet will just crap out... limiting to say 100 connections could help in that case
