please help! torrent/launcher question

Hey everyone,

I have been having a lot of difficulty playing the game lately. Already had ROR installed from when I was playing a few months back but game would not work even after comp restarts and multiple launcher repairs, so I decided to try re-downloading and installing the game.

Used the torrent client which is recommended. Did exactly what the guide said and watched multiple install videos, multiple times.

Finished the torrent download, went to the launcher and let it download some patches and do its thing then closed it for a bit like the guide suggests before reopening launcher. Now it's been downloading 172k files for about 2 days. Which seems like the launcher way of installing the game which they suggest the torrent for instead What's going on.

I just want to play WAR please someone help. I've already played the game for about a year in the fairly recent past.

This will most likely be my last attempt at playing again since I've been trying off and on for 4 days and it just keeps downloading crap...
