maybe people are voting based on running into one in small fights, since the m1 and m2 are annoying to counter
Short lived semi long reuse. Not the same as having real defenses.

in timered abilities the KotBS is better than the chosen while thats up.

knights can still have up to 60% block with self heal and softcap toughness after debuffs and softcap resis. then you throw in their m1 being turned into a 7200 absorb with vigilance for 10 seconds. But I would still say the BG and BO top the charts because of their 50% channeled block, having 90-100% block on those two classes is definitely better.

Vigilance decreases incoming damage by 50% for 10 seconds, buffing the morale. But both abilities are rarely used in city fights anyway seeing that champ challenge or demolishing strike is better, so its not something destro would often run into on a knight.

the worst argument i have seen for why knight is better than chosen is becouse they have the m4 that drains morale...yea...the one no sane knight would use over 50% damage reduction to the whole party...good god
and the absorb m1...you would only use that if you are weak geared or dont want to help your WB out with more usefull morales like aplying armor reduction on the called target OR the most usefull lockdown in the entire game champions challenge (which if you are in a good wb in one party 1 knight has demolishing and other champ)

s/b Kotbs is a monster when it comes to soaking up damage, s/b IB is good for standing on objectives and laugh at people trying to punt/kill him/her, s/b black orc gets M4 super fast having morale pump being put on block which is a primary defense for that career, s/b SM isnt super tanking from my experience but ive seen 2H SMs kill any target with ease before the target can get a proper rotation set up, BG is just anti healer no biggie but can work wonders when guarding a WE and having dark protector on it.

If we are talking about being able to survive, the longest, BO tank. Better tools and as we all know, that spicy M4 spam.

Kotbs don't have to manage Rampage, you Can spam the channeled block if you want but a buffed Slayer will hit you. Kotbs and IB have damage reduction, they are in a good spot for tanking. The other thing is just about position not about block.

Comparing to IB they're not too tanky. I have both but SM is more a heavy armored infantry than tank. IBs ability that allows to convert grudges into energy allows to htl longer. Also they have +10% block tactic which is a big deal for snb too. Like SM they have +parry buff. They can buff willpower boosting disrupt. While being under rr60 I am able to have block, parry etc around 40% each before ability buffs. And like SMs IBs can restore life though not constantly but I never wanted it so tions help to fill the gaps. Tanky bastards
