[Fix] Could not download file from server. (WAR.64.exe)

I downloaded and replaced both WAR64.exe & war.exe files, but I'm getting the same error message "Could not download file from server. (WAR.exe)"

Do I need to download and replace the old files with the contents of the War Extras.zip too?

I stopped playing about a year ago.

im having the same issue i downloaded everything inkl. dx9c and the new files posted in this thread but the launcher still wont update.

Having the same issue now, attempted to download the files and put them into my RoR folder but it just says i need permission to do this even after setting my account to full control. any fix?

Bonjour, noob en informatique je galère pour jouer. J'ai installer le launcher (pas en torrent) , ça a marcher , j'ai créé mon compte mais quand j'ouvre la fenêtre de connection le pavé connect reste grisé, seul le pavé forum est disponible. Svp un petit coup de main. Merci
