Key differences between AOE Magus and AOE Engi

1) Magus can self debuff their spammable AOE attack, Engi cannot and theirs is based on armor, despite having the same tooltip/contribution
2) Magus can move while channeling AOE, Engi cannot
3) Magus Daem DoT is frontal cleave, Engi is a line. Over 6x volume. With Turret AOE buff, it becomes 7x volume.
4) Of the list of things unaffected by Turret AOE buff, Magus has fewer of these.
5) Magus x9 in right tree is better after Bugman's was nerfed.
6) Magus has better survivability.
7) Magus has better synergy - range AOE debuffs Sorc's primary damage, Engi is secondary.

There are 2 magus, thats the reason they made less dmg than engi.

Both classes brings nice aoe dps pressure, but if you get more than one their dps drops.

Maybe key difference exists between keyboard and chair.

1. You take a fight where they roflstomp.
2. Cannon Smash.
3. Stun reduction tactic.
4. Armor tactic.
5. PD.
6. So one of the reasons Magus is better than Engi is because Magus has spirit debuff that doesn't stack with Chosen aura, which then somehow makes sorc better? How far are you planning on grasping?

The only synergy with Glean Magic is Chill Wind tactic AFAIK (might have been fixed now though as I haven't memed around with Sorcs for ages) and you may as well use a Chosen for that.

Nerf Cannon Smash by making it into a M1 that also debuffs resists? Like a DPS Engi is going to take stun reduction, armor and PD. Magus has barrier proc, doubt Restlin uses it.

Imagine thinking a sample size of 1 is legit for an engineer comparison to magus lol but not thinking Destro always winning city on average and having the constant population advantage is a legit indicator of over bloated classes LMAO
