For the meantime, the only method we're going for is a list of potential candidates, from that list, we're discussing the best players to temporarily occupy the RC role for a season.
It's good to also note that it's still fresh and as we go forward, we're finetuning the procedures.
A logical reason behind not having RCs voted on publicly is how political it can get, especially when guilds and alliance support their own colleagues over others.
