Scenario Que Awaiting Time
Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
Next time accept uneven numbers in scenario, if some people don't take pop or queue in groups. It was expected, that queue times for individual players increase a lot, if some form of balancing is applied.
Dying is no option.

Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
does this mean the changes are here to stay? lmao. it takes forever to get a pop and they as often one sided stomps as they have ever been. id rather try and lose in scenarios then surf random wbs with zero impact on the outcome. please have a shred of sanity and revert these changeswargrimnir wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 8:46 pm If only someone had the foresight to repeatedly predict that making the queue more accurate would drastically increase queue times. Ah well, here we go again. Down this other path of complaining about scenarios.

Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
Update: after waiting 10 mins or so after logging in, managed to enter a SC at min 12 with -2 players on our side, stomped on immediately by the enemy team, SC finished 2 mins later in disgrace.
Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
No, I said it happened to me. I just move on and que again. Also, I typically solo que so not sure where you got the idea I ran in premade....interesting....XainDSleena wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 7:56 amYour logic says: If i never had this issue it is fine. There are a lot of changes needed to be made to Scenarios. We are merely giving feedback. If you liked your premade scenarios good for you.awmc82 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 3:50 am A lot of people cried about sc starting with uneven populations. So they made a change to where more people had to que before it starts. Which means super long wait times. Don’t blame the devs; blame the criers.
I never had this issue but a few times and it happened probably because people who qued didn’t join or were afk. So get use to longer que times due to these criers.

so much thisMeliannia wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 9:12 pm 2hrs30 queue time queuing all available , t4 zero pops, and gave up.
3 weeks ago was fine as paint as it had been for for over 1 year, then we had 3 weeks of 12 vs 4, 6vs2, 12vs9, 12 vs 6, and now we have no pops at all,, maybe put it back to what it was like 1month ago? if that's possible?
thank you for your continued efforts on this
Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
please please please revert the changes in SC to how they were a month ago, i finally convinced my friends to try this game that i love and SC's not working will be detrimental to if they decide to continue playing or quit from the long ques. i would be extreamly grateful if the restrections could be removed so we can get faster ques
Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
Formed a 6man to get faster pops in midtier. Still took about 20-30 minutes per pop. Order side.

Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
I want to preface this post by saying I do genuinely appreciate all the work you all put into developing this game. It is nothing short of amazing. Any issues, difficulties or criticisms should take nothing away from that. I myself have maintained open source projects in the past and know how disheartening it can be to wake up to one new star and thirteen new issues heralding the end of the world. So from the bottom of my own shattered heart, thank you.
With that said, is this really the official stance of the head GM:
I find it hard not to read this like an internet troll saying, “LOL, told you so. Get wrecked.” Perhaps that is somewhat uncharitable but I think treating everyone on the forums complaining about queue times as going “down the other path of complaining” is equally unfair. We are not some homogeneous body all complaining about the same thing and while I think the OP could have done a far better job expressing themselves, I don’t think the issue itself should be dismissed out of hand as seems to be the case from your response. I personally never had an issue with the matchmaking system before the change. Queue times were fast, and balance was about as good as could be expected.
I am not advocating for reverting the changes but I don’t find your response particularly enlightening or helpful. Would it be possible for the dev team to share a bit more insight into how the new matchmaking works? Does queueing as a proper 2/2/2 help? Do the levels of that 2/2/2 matter for t1/2/3? Is it prioritizing roles(i.e. healers and tanks should have faster queues)? What about groups smaller than six man?
In the end, it can be frustrating spending an hour in the queue and not really understanding why when it seems like the population is fine. Whatever the case, thank you for your work on the game.

Re: Scenario Que Awaiting Time
Yes. This is my stance. This is the stance of a great number veteran players here who have been through this process. Messing with the queue system is painful and the playerbase is not patient with it, particularly the playerbase who is most likely to be affected by these changes. They (this generalized group of players) weren't patient last time it was messed with either. This knowledge doesn't change whether we work on systems that could be improved, it's just a cautionary tongue-in-cheek observation to expect painful feedback from players that don't hold the same perspective. For you, it's a fun game to play, maybe it's one you really like, and it's interrupting your ability to do so.. For us, it's a years long commitment to improving long standing issues, and a place where experimental changes are made in that effort, often times to the detriment of the playerbase who suffers the consequences of code that is not perfect and is openly being tested on them.Vudin wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 2:37 am I want to preface this post by saying I do genuinely appreciate all the work you all put into developing this game.
