x2 event questions (about six years since I've logged in)

Hey,

It has been a long, long time since I've played, but today I stumbled back to the website and saw a x2 event for xp, rr, and inf. I asked in-game and three people told me that the event was for SCs only(scenarios, right?) only. Do SCs give influence? Ours didn't seem to (unless its just because we already maxed the chapter).

The wife and I enjoy PVP but she also loves all the PQs so we are going to be doing every single one of them we can. Any suggestions on good duo combos for that? Right now we are playing a KoTBs and BW, but I am thinking we might need one of us to heal for the bigger PQs.

edit: we play from the US and our ping seems to be around 150+. Is there any classes that we should absolutely stay away from with the higher ping?

Hello and welcome back, X2 Event affects Experience, Renown and Influence. It covers open world PvP, scenarios and PvE. However the last X2 Event was 2 weeks ago and it's no longer active, you might have read an older announcement.

Alternatively, there's +50% Experience and Renown every weekend and we call it "Weekend Warfront". Every weekend a scenario will be picked by us as the Weekend Warfront and it'll give you more rewards, however it doesn't give influence.

If you're looking forward to level up faster, being active on weekends would help you a lot considering the Weekend Warfront and the numerous battles/sieges in Realm vs Realm.

Hey, sorry for hijacking, but perhaps increasing Quest XP rewards in T3 and T4(say Talabecland, Chaos Wastes etc) is in order. Because, otherwise, it is really slow.

Or, better yet, give 2x as an item. For 5G or what have you. So, who wants it, can have it. The same as 0,25 xp scroll.
