Forts - Not Enough Contribution

Hi all,

I just participated in a fort defence and after we unfortunately lost, I was presented with a message I hadn't seen before telling me my contribution was too low and I wouldn't be getting any rewards??

I appreciate that the defence didn't last long (lost on first push) but prior to that I had multiple deathblows and contributed to countless deaths.

Just curious if anyone can help explain what caused it to tell me I sat on my backside and did nothing (so I can avoid it again).

I think contribution counts only in stage 2 and mainly comes from attacking/defending (i.e. contributing to kills/healing) around BOs and capping BOs.

As Sundowner said, you should be around in Stage 2 to capture and defend BOs. Capturing and defending objectives in stage 2 is a gateway to better contribution, as your actions directly affect the outcome of the fort in general.

With the recent changes, defending objectives is also a must to keep your faction a step ahead of the enemies.
