No reward for successful fort defense

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen, did someone else encounter this problem? today we defended the empire fort and i didnt receive renown, a bag roll or tokens. Game crashed two times during the defense, could this be the reason? This is really frustrating to say the least

yep Same here no renown no inaver crest ....20 Kills with SW and the System told me i have not enough Contribution in the Fort

This can sometimes happen if you join the fort late and do not surpass the minimum contribution required to receive rewards.

Alternatively you can sometimes break yourself into the fort which leads to no rewards being recieved.

If this was a wider problem (and was an issue with the fort in question) we would be seeing much larger reaction to it.

i have been in a handful of fortresses where i got zero rewards despite being active and making a difference.

it feels really bad and probably happens a lot more than you think, id recommend you make a survey about this to get some data.

Got the same info from Reikwald Fort yesterday. Was runnig from the start of the fort, till the end. Got around 18 DB, and was running in a 6 man party. The masage at the end of the fort was that i did not had enough contribution from the fort.
To sum it up.
- I recived the reservation during the lock of Reikland,
- dind get anny DC's during fort
- There was almost no destro in the zone when the fort ended.

I think a lot of the problems expressed on this thread is a misconception of what "contribution" means in terms of the calculation for determining your contribution.

The Majors:

• *Taking a Battle Objective (Stage 2)
  *Killing players on a Battle Objective - not kind of close to, on it.
  *Killing the Lord (Stage 3).

The Minors:

• *Kills
  *Rezzes
  *Healing people that get kills

IE if you followed the flow of the zerg and helped on a couple of kills, that alone isn't enough for contribution. If you didn't do any of the major contributions, you would need a metric ton of kills.

I would react largely but I stopped going to them because it was either no contrib or 1 pity crest for just pain.

Well in my case I didn't bother reporting it because that feedback is usually followed with "git gud" or some other "it's your problem" explanation.

I was playing my SnB blorc from December until April and stopped doing forts in NA time (always a loss) because I got the same response... not enough contribution. I played in small man or wb, fought and died defending and taking BO's, challenged and guarded and still not enough contribution.

Went back to play my SnB knight and low and behold even with losses doing the exact same things I do on my blorc I'd get contribution. I've even CTD and returned to the game on the edge of the map (that's another issue that I haven't taken the time to report b/c that respawn point is just stupid) lost my fort position and I've still got enough fort contribution. I get enough contribution with a win or a loss.

So, there is something that is not right with fort contribution. An overall win seems to push everyone over the contribution line but a loss makes it more likely to get "not enough contribution" at the end of the fort siege and due to that I will not do forts on my destro characters.
