Same as about the +57STR dual wielding choppas. Just fix the bug, very simple.

The thing is the weapons are not buggy. There are knowingly 1handed weapons implemented for WLs (unlike the Buggy 2h dual wield some ppl like to abuse)

So who implemented the 1h weapons for WLs and made them able to dual wield? Wasn't this supposed to be like the original without any changes? Why would somebody "implement dual wield" for WLs?

Can we implement dual SH bows, pretty please?

These have been fixed. Only problem is, if never unequipped them. I unequipped mine and am not able to equip them again. Think devs should have forced everyone to unequip them, when they implemented the fix for them.

Why even complain about it at the moment? Its nothing gamebreaking like 2x2h. I'd even say they are currently just checking out how this whole thing develops in terms of later class balancing (since we all know some are simply ****). There is a difference if you give someone a chance to dual wield as long as they innately can wear 2handers. It would be something different if you give a SW dual wield, because you do not shift the DPs(2h -> 2x1h), but straight forwardly increase it.

Nah I'm not complaining, it's not the point.

Just raising questions - because if in one statement it is supposed to be 100% like the original, then do not make any changes to alter it for now. This was supposed to be balance later on in the end as well, going by the words form another thread as balancing stuff in T2 doesn't make sense with half skills missing. The point is the class was made with a 2hander only option, I don't know the stats on the 2x 1handers but every WL that raped me had them on - so something in the DPS has changed, or they just play mentally better with 2x 1handers.

Make the BOs dual wield then too, or BGs? Can we test that out as well? I just don't think a change like this is fair to all other classes that are staying 100% to original at the moment. I have nothing against testing it out later on, but I think you get my point of view.

Of course I wasn't being literal about the SH dual wield man - it was just an exaggerated retarded point.

I was just thinking that i would totally play a melee DW SW myself ;)

About the 100% livelike you also should know by now (or are already aware), that this
1) was badly balanced
2) is not achieveable at all (due to lack of sources and simply not having all details about everything available)

Aza also stated in multiple topics by now that he will (despite that most likely not being accepted by everyone) try to rebalance broken sh*t anyways (e.g. Toggle Aura mechanics) or simply change something that is worth of being checked out. (would guess like this DualWield "issue")

I play destro and i have zero problems with WL's being able to dual wield. If it makes the game more fun for them, why not? As it has already been pointed out, it's not gamebreaking. In fact it actually makes things more interesting and opens up more possibilities:

- Tanks and WP's DW (I can imagine some badass parry-build tanks).
- WE and DoK 2H (BG spears maybe?)
- Engineers DW (compensates a little for the fact they have to spec Bal AND WS in higher tiers in order to do damage, while Magus only needs Int).
- SH and SW DW (this has been a SW's dream ever since launch).

DW for everyone!!!
By the way, WH could get some DW swords too. And as said before melee DW SW would be really interesting to test. And an engineer with dual pistols would simply look awesome!
That's great that the devs let different classes test new mechanics. Makes the game even funnier.
