1H fortress weapon for tanks

Would it be possible to have a dps 1H weapon for tanks? Subjugator 1H came with 2% crit chance but no such option on fortress…

Thought there was both a 3% crit one and a 3% reduced crit one???

I use the sc ones but was pretty sure you have 2 choices, an axe for IB with crit and a hammer with crit reduction.

Odd, BG and Knight both have options for offensive 1h, and I assume IB and Chosen, but as your SM... idk? Thought you would have the same choice.

+crit chances on a tank 1H sword ? What a strange idea...

Damage is already barely viable for a 2H SM, and it's only thanks to being spirit, with a SnB build going offensive is already a no-go to me, but I wont restrain you from trying...

If you want damage over protection, the Bloodlord swords are already a better choice, having both crit chances and 5% added damage, if you're going this way.

And generally speaking, Sentinel weapons are often better choices since the procs + higher stats can do a real difference, while a mere 2/3% crit chances wont (in the actual anticrit stacking meta).

The best option to crit is actually to spec 2H with balanced accuracy, and stealing 110+ init with Nature's Blade.
Trying to spec for crits otherwise (renown/gear) is too damaging for your survivability and dont provide much options either. I wont recommend it, really (even in 2H build).

Balanced accuracy does not require 2H and neither Nature’s blade.

Damage is fine on SM, its only weakness and not the least, is the lack of ST punt on demand.

Only fortress weapon has 3% crit and a proc.

It might be a strange choice and there are alternatives indeed but if all tanks have it, why not SM.

It is prob a bug. I'd add it to the bugtracker and they will fix it. No reason why SM shouldn't have it.

Just an FYI knights only has fortress 1 1h option, 1 2h and of course 1 shield option
The 1h gives decrease crit chance

Knight don't have an offensive 1h fort weapon option either, because the weapon that is listed requires a subjugator rapier for trade-in which the knight can't get.
