Hello community.

As I saw the other post pretty much turned into a performance topic I figured I could quickly write down the selected questions and give a very brief wording of how the devs answered.
It would be best if any of these questions or answered stuck out to you, to go and listen to the segment in the youtube video to hear it for yourself. But here is the very brief written version if anyone should want it.

I guess this topic can also serve as a talking point about some of these teasers or answeres we have gotten.

Q: Can performance be improved?
A: tl:dr already done some and game is running better than Live.

Q: /chairsit emote back?
A: Animation provided issues in pvp. low priority

Q: expanding the team?
A: Go apply

Q: New website?
A: There seem to be no need atm. Armory updates already here, maybe more.

Q: 2021 video trailer
A: Big succes, and exelent timing!

Q: Reporting cheaters
A: They get banned, when enough hard evidence

Q: Dev motivation
A: Devs are happy with Hunter's vale release and moving on to next project on their list

Q: Crossrealming
A: 90min lockouts are in place. Statistics show not many swap side, its more a situation of
other new players logging on to a dominating side and not loosing side logging over.

Q: localization
A: Community help translate

Q: Ranked statistics for who have tried ranked season2
A: 958 different accounts have played at least 1 ranked match.

Q: Vision and future for RoR
A: RvR focused MMO

Q: NB removal
A: It happend now, because devs had the tools to counter it now (last few years) but picked
to do it now.

Q: Statistics after NB removal patch
A: 1400 peak before. 1200 after. Back up to 1400 peak now.

Q: Attracting new players
A: Social platforms, players inviting their friends, PR from articles and Teaser videos.

Q: What addons count as "cheating" if NB did
A: Automated pvp functions which remove user unput, and not addons which improve QoL or help
give players more information to make decissions during combat.

Q: Seqencer addon from Devs

A: Maybe improvements

Q: Are there secret versions of NB out there used in ranked
A: Devs dont believe there are any working version of NB out there.

Q: When controversial changes dont get experimented with or followed up on (forum and patchtes)

A: Community managerteam will probably improve on this in the future

Q: Appearance items
A: Appearance comes from working sets, not just items only introduced for their appearances.

Q: Ranked tokens in RvR
A: Different tokens belong in different content

Q: Invader gear (alternatives)
A: Might see new ways to optain invader, might see changes to forts.

Q: Merchant to swap between the 3 royals sets
A: No.

Q: Any update on Royal or scenario weapons
A: Scenario weapons might come with season3 ranked. Dungeon,worldboss,epic, royal weapons might
come depending on future releases of content.

Q: Server first rr100 event
A: No special spotlight of individuel players

Q: Twitch drops

A: Twitchplatform changed their way of doing it. Maybe soon.

Q: Streamer promotion
A: Streamers are getting teasers for upcoming content to share with their viewers

Q: PUGbawl
A: Devs support community events. Reach out to the devs. The better you organize it, the more
appealing it is for the devs to help out (small volenteer team)

Q: Devs playing in community events themselves
A: Devs making fun of Maxhayman for his lvl 38 knight.

Q: Revamping PvE on RoR
A: Focus is releaseing missing pve content from Live.

Q: Cpt 22 PQs:
A: Might be more raiding content like PQ22 in the future.

Q: Beastlord bosses respawn timer
A: 90-120 min respawner atm. Catchup and entrylevel gear vs timeinvestment.

Q: Influence in Hunter's Vale
A: A better experience for a seperate dungeon.

Q: Realm buffs for losing realm
A: Devs have some ideas, might fall under a more RvR focused revamp in the future.

Q: Citysiege MMR
A: Other support systems would need work first, like player DC and missing queue.

Q: Citysiege dodging
A: Same as above.

Q: Thoughts on Forts & Cities working as intented
A: They function atm with limmited ammount of bugs and almost no crashes in a working state.
they might get revisited later on.

Q: Destro fort issues
A: Listen to the full answer at 1:09:45 in the youtube video.

Q: Fort & City structures.
A: Might be changes coming. Owning the enemy capital idea.

Q: Maps inside dungeons
A: Devs like this idea and it worked out well for Hunter's vale having an in dungeon map to
navigate around inside.

Q: Royal boots/Gloves drop from playerkills like on Live
A: These are endgame sets and dont need a catchup mechanic as long as they are higest tier gear.

Q: T3 Badlands keep postern doors
A: Devs agree the spread of postern doors are not good on this. Unsure if they can change it.

Q: Have world editing become easier on RoR
A: Yes! It has become alot easier to build and add new pieces to the gameworld over the last
few years and implimenting them are much easier now

Q: Next big project
A: Devs working on two big projects. Max is working on one (being secret about it)
The other one is Land of the Dead outdoor area not TOVL

Q: Land of the Dead
A: Originally too pve focused. RoR might try a more modern pvp focused version. Splitting the
zone with pvp, from the pve dungeon, and the worldboss all 3 getting different releases potentially

Q: Siegesiege soloqueing removal
A: Devs might attempt this experiement to improve the matches

Q: Increasing the bank vault slots
A: Not planned atm.

Q: Account-wide bank for shared currencies
A: Nothing planned. Need forum suggestions how it would function between the items.

Q: Merging pve Wards with pvp wards like Live
A: Maybe eventually when RoR catch up to more Live pve content.

Q: Guild vs Guild content
A: Devs might work and improve on guildclaiming.

Q: End of season patches
A: Saves delevopment time

Q: Will the Realm Champeon program continue
A: Yes, with improvements from what has been learned about the first round.

Q: Define Balance
A: Link in the video description

Q: More mastery path being meta friendly
A: Some mastery trees are serving different purposes like utility, solo or nieche.

Q: 2-handed slayer
A: Nothing planned.

Q: Improving RvR campaign
A: Yes, now that Ranked focus is "finished"

Q: AAO
A: serves it's purpose. Might be more mechanics to try and split zergs up.

Q: Guild rewards
A: Devs want more guild keep upgrades. And expand on the Guild-coin reward options

Q: Garden (arena)
A: Needs bugfixing before anything else added.

Q: Blacklist to Ranked
A: No.

Q: City/fort trackers
A: Devs do track some data but look at a bigger picture than raw statistics.

Q: New SC gear
A: Season2 released.

Q: BHA
A: Maybe Realm champ 2.0 will get involved on this

Q: Reworking tactics
A: low level core tactics unlocked at lower levels are meant as lowlevel tactics.
"Bad" mastery tactics will get improved on to be worthwhile options

Q: White Lion
A: White lion focus atm. is on pet pathing

Q: Aoe Cap
A: It is planned to stay at 24 for most abilities

Q: Shammy & AM rework
A: Yes

Q: Slayer & Rampage
A: "when we review the class we will look at that"

Q: BW & Sorc in ranked
A: "Ranked is not a direct factor for balance decisions"

Q: MSH
A: Aoe melee build. Working as intented

Q: GTDC
A: No changes

Q: Mist & Napalm nerf after Turret stack mechanic nerf revert
A: The 20% stack nerf is here to stay.

Q: Flat stat tactics changes
A: Very possible

Q: Hunter's Vale replayability
A: more stuff might get added to revisit this dungeon

Q: Guild trophies on guild standards etc.
A: Seems like alot of work to impliment something Mything didnt finish

Q: Crafing Armor pieces in the future
A: Maybe with the new Blacksmithhing tradeskill that has been mentioned before.

Q: WL and duel Wielding
A: Might need rebuilding animations, check lore, and not a priority atm.

Q: Teasers for new secret content
A: Max again hinting at his content he is working on secretly which he calles truely beautiful

Ping me when Battleobjectives are becoming meaningful to the oRvR game as an incentive & tool to spread out the players and the action.
