Blatant hatred towards disabled players.

You took it away after years of people using it. How is not being hateful and bias towards these players? Which is mainly disabled or low dex people. You lost over half your population. Do you even give a damn?

Was it mostly disabled/low dex players? I mean this with no disrespect, but your own experiences don't extrapolate to everyone. Any system like that will find high use among anyone that wants an edge. Newer to this game myself, but when you see a mass drop off of players when you ban something like that it is not really a good assumption that they were all handicapped somehow.

Sequencer is lacking but NB was used by anyone, not only people with handicap.

im disabled, i have problems with both my hands and my sight. ive never used nerf buttons as it wasnt something that was part of the original live game. I find it a positive way to overcome my problems and play the game as it was intended and i dont think i do a bad job

Point to the matter there always been plenty of players that used to be a huge part of the game around roleplay/rvr guilds that are sorely missing.
Assuming other people "cheat" doesnt mean its their fault and it just happened to be on their expense rather than finding a solution considering their requirements which is why I think they should roll it back and just find the real cheaters.

this was in /3 the first day of NB removal did half of you sudenly become wounded war veterans cause the devs removed the cheat addon?
if you phisically cant play the game without cheat addons then dont play it find something you can play

NB was borderline cheating, and they always planned to remove it somehow. So here we are.

I think it was straight out right Cheating, played War from the beginning of live been here from beginning, never once used NB, i don't get why people need it so bad ?

I find it very funny, that there are so many "DISABLED or Low Dexterity" players in this game who NEED to use the addon. In real life, I have meet countless people who REALLY suffer from one disability or another, and you know ONE AWESOME thing about these people? They dont complain and cry about it. They do not let their disability limit them. They find ways to overcome their disability and i admire them so much.

It's not like we could investigate every player and ask them for pictures to validate each NB user. The addon was on the blacklist for a long time but the proper means to remove it and offer an alternative without the rejected features have been recently achieved. That's just it, as simple as it sounds.. The developers dislike the addon from A to Z due to some of its specific features - it's purely related to the addon itself.

Aggressively accusing honest people of being 'hateful' towards disabled players, simply because their work did not align with your expectations, is really disrespectful and unnecessary. You're absolutely welcome to play here for as long as you wish, but do not frame any of us into such scenarios. You can re-watch the Q&A if you wish to get an answer, you can get your facts checked by contacting us, but using your personal issues to step-up your argument and throw false information will doubtfully be tolerated.

I've really tried to keep my cool but I have to boycott this project and the developers for being blatantly hateful towards players with disabilities. Removing a tool after so many years that helped players with arthritus, shot hands, and other disabilities is nothing short of shameful. And the comments I've seen regarding people who are unsatisfied is demoralising. This project is complete freeware. You are not making money on it. (Unless you count the ads on here) People were having fun. The hit to the population has been dramatic and your team does nothing to help matters.

I'm sorry if you are suffering from disabilities, but using the removal of NB as a personal attack on you and others by the devs is nothing short of Karen like behaviour.

In fact, using your own frustrations and channeling them towards the devs unjustly is hateful.

It's been factually recorded that the team wanted to get rid of NB for a very long time because the addon was clearly giving players an advantage. To compensate for that a sequencer addon has been added which isn't the best but still evolving.

Granted the team tends to axe things which they believe need to be addressed instead of tweaking them, but conditional checks from an addon needed to be axed a long time ago for the simple reason is that they were borderline cheating. The rhetoric that 'oh but anyone could use it' is nonsensical. Anyone can technically wall hack or aim bot.

Lastly, there is no way to empirically link the population drop to the removal of NB especially when TBC Classic released at the exact same time.

All I am saying is that taking into conaideration it hurts a large amount of player means it need be addressed properly rather than blacklisting the only viable solution.

Frankly people are oversensitive about feedback here, thats my opinion, while its true many people complain over all sort of stuff the primary attention should be on the already shrinking community or RoR will end up like the others.
