Group Member Level Limit Before "No XP" Kicks In?

I asked in game multiple times but no one seems to know the answer, so I was hoping maybe someone here could answer it.

Anyone out there able to answer this? I thought one of the coders would know if no one else.

The reason we want to know isn't for power leveling or anything, that'd be easy enough to check without throwing everything in our group off kilter. Some of us play more often than others, and we don't want to get too far away from the majority of the group, ruining their experience as a result.

i think it is a max difference of 5 levels

Not sure if this is helpful. but when I have helped people level on a lvl 40 toon, if that player is below lvl 37 and instead being lvl 36 their exp per monster is more than halfed. so there are some really big dropoffs the more levels between you and they seem to kick in rather rapidly after 3-4 level diffence.
