All its missing is keep loot and that would quickly shift the focus back to RVR instead of farming PvE in my opinion.

Grind, as defined by doing what feels like actual work to get gear, isn't desirable. Working towards a goal in a game should be fun. The ideal is to have the gear as a motivator for players to do fun things (like big RvR) instead of having them farming freaking mobs.

This issue hasn't escaped my notice, but sourcing the current server issues must take priority over everything else, including incentives to RvR over grind.

A beer for them man!!

And IMO, I would say at the moment it is very server_friendly to spread the player base around in the active areas of the game, PvE or RvR.
I read posts where the PvE-Love was mentioned and yes, even the PvE aspects of this game are great, 'cause it's WAR... which we all love.
The grind might be a bit lame at some time, yes, but there are so many ways to deal with someone and get a grind-group. Grinding a few hours in PvE and you will earn a lot of gold, I think.
For example the 15G for your mount. I get the last 3 gold from my guild leader, just to keep up with my mount ;) (thx a lot...you know who you are).
We have an alpha stage atm, we all know. And bying the blue woe-gear for some silver would maybe ruin some of the fun experiences of some players. With the vendor-sold green stuff you are competetiv in a group, I think.
Some day, when the main bugs will be fixed, you will find yourself back in the game you loved so much. Keep-Loot, Lag-free 90%, maybe PQ if you are interested in, or working SC...the list will be long.
Keep playin, be patient, and help out the ones which were asking for help.
Thats what every true fan and supporter of RoR could do.
The Dev-team knows every issue, they are/were and will working hard on this project (which isnt a F2P-Game or something like this...it is just a miracle that we are able play it once again).
And dont forget...the devs even love this game, like we all do, and...they playing it for themselves.
So be sure, they share your opinion, but also have priorities of tasks, which has to be fixed first ;)

Dont get me wrong, I like your opinion and at some point share it too.

Nope, you're gonna have to explain that. Are you saying (as I imagine) that all those that ground out/macroed for Woe gear will have their 'fun' ruined?

What's not fun to you might be fun for others, as simple as that. You are forcing your opinion on the matter.

IMHO I think that PVE in warhammer have no interest, there are so many other MMO where the PVE is better. The big advantage of warhammer online is the PVP/RVR, this part should be the priority. What I want to say is : if the lag is not due to a bug, and is server's resource driven, let's turn off every MOBS and PVE. This also mean that stuff should be obtained as PVP loots.

Many say that woe isnt that good or not much better that clamit but thats not ture especially for mdps classes they have higher armor and toughness that they really need further more the woe shield are the best tanking shields atm

Once we REALLY start getting into rvr and get rvr sets it wont be an issue...but until then

If it was server resource driven, we'd have massive lag happening throughout the days following T2 release which was not the case. We had plenty more people on and no lag - it only started to happen that frequently last week or so. Plus, going to the extremes like that isn't how you fix something.

This subject has been discussed over and over again. I am sure that once the major issues of the server will get solved, Devs will deal with PvE, gear droppings and all about it.
'till then, let's enjoy the game as RoR is the only WAR server out.

Cheers ~
