Roughly...yes
I play RPGs a lot so the way something looks and "feels" the connection that I have with my character and the enviorment is really important to me, most wouldn't care but I'm the type of person who would delete a rr25 simply because the way her jewelry was bothered me.
But to ride a green cold one to battle like malus darkblade my all time favorite warhammer series, through whose books I not only found out about but fell in love with the wfb universe.
Destro is just more interesting faction Vikings, the brutish comidic relif of the orcs, amazing looking armor, compare this to the grim morose tacturn order (seriously who want to play a character who only wants to die?), and the lazy repeated armor designs.

I'm willing to sacrifice the social aspect of ror for asthetics.

Plus the story I had In my head for my kotbs of a simple pesant who joins the order, rises through the ranks and becomes the hero of the empire was ruined when I found out that only nobles can becomes knights

****, everyone on destro is so **** cut throat and only looking out for number one that getting woe is gonna be such a pain even my guild mates don’t really care about helping each other out.
Pity I cant go back to ordo and nice guys at SoD, ordos just such a boring faction with interchangeable looking characters and classes...and boring mounts

I consider myself a nice guy, but altruistic might be pushing it abit far. That would mean no deed of mine has any other motive then to help others. But a little exaggerating to make a point helps and i agree

It's something us order strive for though. That utopia in the far distance.

Or in short, Order rules and the rest doesn't.

as an ordo I can't agree more... I never really got it why mythic made us ordo so "unattractive" with lame armor design (just look at cala set for kotbs/chosen, it's obvious who would win the awesomeness contest) and weak appearance. destro really got the style and that could be the reason why many people are playing them, maybe that's also the reason why many destros got elitism and a shot of arrogance in them ;)

I really would love the flame if it was not so close to the truth.

Actually there was a banter on the similar topic in Destro's advice channel last evening (European time zone). Alas, no word such as selfish or elitist was used, but lots of players agreed that there is a significant lack of cooperation and even will to cooperate on our (Destro) side. The reason can be difficult to address but it seems the Order has far better leaders. Not only Order players seem to be better organized in RvR but they are also willing to take orders and act on them (Bitterstone Thunderers are awsome example of how actually random bunch of dwarfs can be well organized and efficient battle group). Except few RvR guilds there is no such a thing in random (or PUG if you want) warbands on Destro's side - or I haven't been in any random warband which had at least some illusion of commanding.

Fortunately SCs seem to be quite even (In terms of who wins, I'm not talking about the score!).

I don't really believe order got better organisation, maybe it's because the state of game is still unstable, but I experienced at random WBs extinct leading where the class distribution of the groups were not fixed by the ones who opened it. lack of cooperation exists on order side as well. There was a time where I searched in advice for rvr/sc party with every class I can bring (because guild is kinda empty) but there seem to be no roaming going on at the time I mainly play, sadly

E: imo in SC, the side who died the less wins, not which reach 500 first

Telen say ofcourse, but I say No. I would rather spend my time in RvR than by endless grind for gear with+ 3,4 to stat and 10 to armor or +3dps on 1H wep.

If We talk about purple gear, its another story. That gear worth the "grind time".

The question really is what else can you do with gold?
