So I'm perfectly fine with the skill except one thing...is it possible to fix the damn camera jank? It's really the only intolerable part of the skill. I think this a problem in general with knockdowns/pulls, so maybe it can't be fixed...but boy is it noticeably horrible with GTDC (probably due to the short air time). Half the CC of this skill is the fact you end up running in the wrong direction because it messes with your camera.
Maybe a dev could shed some insight on the janky camera shenanigans that's been around for forever on CC and if it's on the radar to ever be changed, IF it can even be changed?
Yeah this isn't really a GTDC whine thread. It's a camera whine thread.

Re: GTDC whine thread
Most likely that a GTDC whine thread would come from Destro, well at least we we could rename GTDC to “Choppa Gives Free Immunities” CGFI

Re: GTDC whine thread
im pretty sure that is working as intended and that's a thing - you get turned around and lose all defenses.. "there is no good defense for a dagger in the back" as the loading screen tip says..CeeJay89 wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 5:39 pm So I'm perfectly fine with the skill except one thing...is it possible to fix the damn camera jank? Well I understand and support not being able to turn while you're in the air or on the ground, but your camera orientation shouldn't be forced into some jank ass position regardless of the CC type. They're already the best forms of CC, it doesn't need to actually disorient the player themselves.nebelwerfer wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 7:14 pmim pretty sure that is working as intended and that's a thing - you get turned around and lose all defenses.. Yeah this isn't really a GTDC whine thread. It's a camera whine thread.but still it's not as good as rampege in isolation obviously but it's potential is very good, not a bad ability at all

i have to agree with that, it is the worst part of the abilityCeeJay89 wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 8:22 pm

That's why this ability is causing so much deaths I think.
There already are evidences of pulls/bump negating all defenses (apparently you cannot avoid anything while airborne, except with self-bump like WH/WE or SH/SW), but the cherry on top is turning you backway against your will (and causing disorientation + loss of time to get you in proper facing again).
I also noticed tp abilities (SW's Shadowstep or WE's gap closer) have a tendency to turn you back from your original orientation, especially when you use those abilities at close range, wich is indeed problematic since shadowstep increases your defenses, you should not be turned backway after your move.
It could be very a very good QoL upgrade to remove, at the very least, those orientation changes with those abilities (basically negating your frontal defenses for a couple of seconds minimum), and/or lower the range/chance to trigger from GTTC, wich is considered by many as a problematic and easy to get OP with either stacking (multiple choppas) and/or combos (AoE kd from mara for instance).
