proc icd query
HI, I was told ingame today that the internal cooldown of DoK's covenants is 2 seconds. It struck me as too much. Can anyone confirm, please? thanks in advance.

It applies to the whole group. A single ability cooldown is ~1.3 seconds.Deadpoet wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 4:52 pm HI, I was told ingame today that the internal cooldown of DoK's covenants is 2 seconds. It struck me as too much. Can anyone confirm, please? thanks in advance.
Imagine having a proc apply 6 times in half a second, or 1 second that deals 200-600-ish. Or reapplies a snare.
That's why it has an ICD of 2s.

Re: proc icd query
For this reason 0,5 sec ICD was added to Leonine Frenzy loooong time ago live, but it could also crit which it reallly should because the whole pet is needed for crit dmg tactic and pet also does the dmg from LF so WB for welf not critting i understand that, but in this case it reaaally should crit. Riposte had max 1 sec ICD live and it was added here as well because no wants to die because they targeted someone : D So if adding 2 seconds for LF you know it would bee a much more " aint picking that that high up the tree for that dmg'. Would it be possible to have 05 sec ICD for the actual class whos casting the buff was it dok or sorc or any class but keep 2sec ICD for rest of party? This would also applie to all classess with single person dmg proc buffs/skills=) And alot of tactics in game have to do with class procs proccing ALOT more and that 'Proc Meta' reason 2 sec iCD was added but it has always felt too much to me.Secrets wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 7:32 pmIt applies to the whole group. Aso i cant stress this enough but WE finishers hit 2x so they can proc kisses 2x after both hit. Or when BW uses Ignition and it lands, that landing can proc flames of rhuin. BW tooltip says "any time you attack target" and sorc frozen touch "when dealing direct dmg so landing the dot on bw is attacking target, thats probably why sorc has frozen fury because they need to deal direct dmg. Although when using SoD tactic after that it was possible even from landing chillwind to proc frozen touch because now it is treated like direct dmg, not sure why maybe because tactic slots are spesial and now applying it is considered direct hit/dmg.
"To clarify, me asking to developers to go test their own changes is not sign of toxicity or anger, but a sign of hope that the people punching in the numbers remain aware of potential consequences and test their own changes"-Teefz

So if someone else procs it I cannot proc it for 2 seconds?Secrets wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 7:32 pmIt applies to the whole group. Re: proc icd query
Per-person. So if someone else in your group procs it, their character starts a 2s ICD. Same with Frozen Touch from Sorcoilpourer wrote: Fri Dec 17, 2021 2:09 pmSo if someone else procs it I cannot proc it for 2 seconds?Secrets wrote: Wed Dec 15, 2021 7:32 pmIt applies to the whole group.
