How are choppa atm ?

If you like the choppa then make one.
Currently he is the worst mele dps in the game but don't worry.
He will definitely get some changes sooner or later because his on order side Slayer counterpart is powerful and this needs to be balanced. Therefore either slayers get nerfed (prob will never happen) or choppa gets a buff.
Currently the biggest advantage of choppa is CHop fasta and the biggest disadvantage is free immmun GTDC.
This is why I use ranked/sc build even on orvr without GTDC.

Depending on build and player skill every class can play solo, including Choppa.

Choppa, however, is one of the classes I would rate as one of the weaker classes for this particular end. Their defenses are inherently lower than other classes, and that conflicts with the solo meta which is entirely dominated by high defense/regen builds.

set your sight on black ork. Same damage as choppa, but can solo. And you definitely will be busy, better gameplay overal. I have both, but choppa is there to show the death. And i doubt that gear can somehow change it.
You are a food for any class. even healers.

Choppa can do over 600 dmg with riposte so CH/SL best choice if you want Riposte build. Choppa is great class not as good as slayer but slayer is OP in every play style, but it doesnt make Choppa bad.

Unless you are in a guild that will provide you with heals/ tanks you are a free kill in almost every situation. Is a dps that needs lots of attention, specially since you are top priority when it comes to order focusing someone to kill.
The class is not in it's best state at the moment, doesn't mean it's useless: it can hit pretty hard both in aoe and single target, but it's definetely sub-par compared to other melee dps, specially in terms of versatility (you'll play the same build for most of the time) and your place within a fight (frontline bruiser).
For solo roam, not recomended unless you are geared/know how to surf the zerg/are willing to die more than almost any other mpds.
