Interesting. Very insightful. So does this bonus to roll persist through logging out? Because I simply can't play the game long enough to get multiple sieges done in the same session and quite frankly that's not healthy given that we're talking about hours at a time even with highly organized play.

P.S. About that Genesis set: I noticed that each piece is bought with a different token rather than a general currency like medallions. Is it totally RNG based on which token I will get from the bag? Like for example if I only need the cloak to complete the set but I keep getting tokens for accessory pieces that I already have, is there any way to combat that? Because otherwise it seems like an odd system.

Yes, it's remembered even after you log out.

For Genesis, yes, it's also randomized. You may get the same piece 4x in a row (though unlikely). I usually get 3 and then have a long time waiting for the last one.

Yes your contribution in a zone does save when you log out. However if you log into another character into the same active zone, you'll lose contribution on your previous character. The bag will be in your mail if you got one. Plus any medals you would have won based on your contribution.

The Genesis gems are tied to certain bag colours in each tier. I can't remember exactly what's in each one but it's not random.

Just to confirm two things:

1.) Bag roll bonuses are different from your character contribution in a specific zone. Your bag roll bonus is saved per character and it does not reset, even if you swap to another character and go to the same zone. The reset is purely for specific character contribution bonus (not including bag roll) if you hop characters.

2.) Genesis items can drop from Blue, Purple, and Gold bags. However, I'm pretty sure they are random, and different color bags do not guarantee a different jewelry piece. If that's wrong, happy to be corrected!

Yeah I can now confirm this as well because since writing the original post I have now gotten purple, blue, green, and white (lol) bags and it seems that only blue and above can drop Genesis tokens and they do indeed appear to be random because I got the "fragment" one each time regardless of the bag's color. Green bags and below only appear to contain warrants for the other 2 smaller 3-piece sets.
