Tooltip error, pending fix. It is actually 60%
So what will be the exact tooltip for LOTD mount? 60 speed 50 chance to be dismounted? Permanent guild mount is 60-45, is that intended too Dalen? Thanks

some good things like: one currency
some very bad ones like:
- prices raised terribly
- City siege system controlled from above (every 3 days)
- rvr combat makes no sense
- people will only log in on the days of the attack on the city, because why play on other days, if it does nothing
- the entry threshold for new players has become downright overwhelming

I recall before where "controlled" indirectly by letting t4 getting capped by opposite faction and wait siege up

warcrest and campaign progression. Want to attack that juicy 5 star city? go out and cap zones then

this always happened even with old system. many guildies in my discord were just using bot city channel and nothing more. Log in fort/city, logoff and repeat.

i am newbie now (remade acc from zero having forgotten my old one from 2 years ago), and fresh char from zaero. I am 39 and already made the full set run till annihilator (farming conq now) in roughly 1 and half week of played timer. And i am quite casual, not hardcore

The rewards for zone locks, fort locks etc scale with contribution. You can no longer show up late, get minimum contribution but still get full rewards.
or you can play a shadow warrior, do your best, get kills and deathblows, and still get 165th by contribution. while on my level33 WP i can throw 3 heals, go afk and get bigger contribution. fun times indeed

I'm not really convinced by all the changes ; while "sandbox mode" where everyone can play around and do only what they want and skip over some activities, I still believe it will only lead to big frequentation discrepancies, where people only will play one game mode, since all are almost equally rewarded now.
Before, yes some content was not as enjoyable as other for majority of people who were "forced" to do it nonetheless, but at elast it promoted the alternance between activities, and an active contribution to almost all game modes by everyone.

Time will tell but I predict a frequentation drop in ranked and cities.

This. Contribution system screwed DPS big time. I always drop purple/gold when playing my SM, doing nothing but hitting lord in phase 3 is enough for that. Meanwhile fighting with any DPS, getting kills and capping flags all along, will gets you to lower half of scoreboard, each and every time.

I get why healers and tanks are more rewarded, because they can contributed to 2 (even all) of the 3 sections Damage/Heal/Protection, while DPS can only contribute to one on 3.

Please, please, consider weighting contribution from archetype perspective, and not only by the numbers in scoreboard, where exist huge differences in terms of abilities (mainly dictated by access to AoE effects or not).

In that particular fort I had several solo flag caps and a few kills, you can’t just write it off that I showed up late😂. No worries now I can buy 1 heal potion!

This does bring up a larger issue of contribution for dps, it’s much easier to get contribution as tank or healer unless you are getting solo kills.

By the way in a later successful fort defense I had 100s of kills in a premade and over 10 flag caps and got 50 crests for comparison.

LOCKED behind? Its a RVR focused game since launch of the live servers. Gear is not just gonna sit in the vendor to be picked up with gold.

And if you didnt realise yet, you dont actually have to do RVR for the gear anymore. You can choose to do scenarios all day long.
