Pros from what ive seen so far:
Players can get gearsets for their desired spec, for doing the activity they want to play. Example healers can get healing sets from spamming scenarios.
Players can do whatever activity they want and progress, instead of the old system where scenarios didnt make sense after you got your offhand weapon and no longer need those tokens.
Players defeating high rank players and earning token drops, but unable to use them for the next long while can now use them instantly. (rr 40 players getting invaders but couldnt use them yet)
Cons:
Players used to be able to get one or several goldbags and bypass some of the expensive token grind fairly easily to get into entry-level 40 gear, like getting a Vanq Chest/shoulders/helmet and be able to compete with high rank players, this is no longer the case as players need to grind gear set other players were bypassing (conq) and now need to spend more time on the bottom of the top-dog bracket in t4.
Players can use the Weekly orvr tasks to progress, but these are still not overly Casual friendly with gated Fortress victories being gated in a new meta where forts fill up not allowing for casual players to get the 3rd pip and catch up.
Suggestions:
Lower the cost and requirements of T1 - Conq sets.
Reduce the Weekly orvr task to be 1 fortress victory, or 3 participations.
Maybe reintroduce goldbag pieces on lower gear sets from orvr uptill conq to help give new players or chars more of a foothold into T4 since kill-crests are based on killparticipation players need to have a certain entrylevel of power to compete for crests.
