Xrealmers logging destro to psu forts so they can log order to defend ic

Can we please keep this thread on topic, this is about stupid xrealmers Ruining the game not about improving city. Thank you.

City siege is the end of the campaign, so they are relationated at 100%. The goal of the RVR is the city siege

So did I get this right? There you are, minding your own business taking empty zones and keeps, having fun farming crests. Then it's Altdorf time and these evil xrealmers show up to ruin everything and you can't rely on your numbers anymore. How dare they?

what issue exactly ? i'd understand the whine if city siege actually damage the city (example; dungeons will be closed x days, extremly heavy AH taxes, npc's stop selling stuff etc)
there is absolutely no downside if your city being sieged or not, it's just either IC or ALT; same mechanics with different textures.

if people are too **** about their city is being sieged; better organize and form up warbands with decent setups; not a rocket science. this game is 14 years old.

also note that, live was absolute strict about realm swapping that caused servers either "heavly" destro or order dominated which led servers die horribly. i'd honestly praise current situation some people trying to balance population if it's out of control.

win what ? you get same rewards as long as you win the city.

Its easier to defend than attack. Therefore if its always altdorf, order have the advantage and I more importantly I have to run to altdorf.

Also certain xrealmers arent balancing it out - they log destro and run a 96 man zerg to lock forts to get destro ahead even with 100% aao.

The good news is since this post order have locked 2 forts so we may, just may, get an IC defence.

if you wanna stick with one realm and expect balanced rvr 24/7; it's not going to happen, guess you are extremly new to ror, sooner or later you will realize.

Only a detail: It is easy defend, but Destro's melee trains are easy to play with less players skill and works better in Altdorf than in CI, because Altdorf there is a very close space to fight, but in CI the order's WBs can spread better

Have the stars of cities tied to the costs of gear ( crested gear). That would help i am sure as it would hurt players crest pockets just like the wore torn debuff on aao.
Exp:
Base price 4 star and 5 star 10% discount
3 star increase cost by 10%
2 star increase by 20%
1 star increase by 30%

But due to schedualed cities never really see 1-2 stars. This could be fixed by removing timers of increasing the stars. How a faction increases ones stars is attacking enemy city.

Might cut down exrelm because they enjoy defending cities

Not expecting balanced RvR all the time. What I was pointing out is some of the xrealm guilds logging destro to push forts so they can defend altdorf and demoralising order so that they give up on the campaign and just log or log destro.

Make it a random pop for which city it is and problem goes away.
