First time doing instances!

Hello, as the title says I've never done any instances in this game. Didn't get to it in AoR and now with 2 characters at 40 and now I have time to play every other weekend, what's stopping me from seeing this part of the game?

Is it possible to complete the instances without any knowledge of the boss fights etc or is there a guide that i should read/watch beforehand? I had no luck googling the only thing I found is 3 hour long videos of people clearing Gunbad, which I found Abit too time consuming, also the creater didn't really explain the fight mechanics etc.

There are some posts in the forum here with guides for e.g. Bastion Stair.
Also you can find some information in the official wiki.
Lastly there are also some videos on YouTube on Twitch.

But my personal suggestion is: find a group with your Guild or via LFG chat and just tell them you're the first time in the instance.
They'll tell you what to take care of and if you're not clear about something just ask.

Overwhelming majority of players did every dungeon in game (or at least on one side) thousands of times, encountering all kinds of obstacles including (but not limited to) bugs, more bugs, incompetent party members, ppl quitting, ppl not understanding mechanics, ppl being uncooperative and lack of groups. I can assure you that for those veteran PvE players explaining content of every boss fight to a new player is perfectly doable if you ask for help beforehand.

As one of those players, I would rather you ask before we wipe because you did something wrong! The boss mechanics for each boss are typically simple enough to explain in 1-2 lines in chat.

Putting an inexperienced tank through PvE is usually more challenging than putting through an inexperienced DPS or healer as the tanks are really responsible for managing the pace of the dungeon run. Typically I've seen guilds far more willing to put through inexperienced tanks than /5 chat. If you're a tank, try to get a spot as an "off-tank" (not the main tank, but also helps out with keeping allies alive and functions as a tanky DPS) to learn the dungeon before becoming the main tank.
