looking for a solution to the ap problem
boys and if we look for a solution to the problem in the game and not in the forums.... maybe dusting off some builds, skills or tactics...

We have a change coming in the next patch that should help with the AP concerns. But as always we’re open to hear additional suggestions.

its great that you're acknowleding there is a problem atleast, but to be real: bigger ap pool just means u can fire one or two more abilities before you run out of ap.
You should really consider giving apregen a healthy increase. Right now it feels terrible. even in a group that utilizes 2 or 3 seperate ap pump methods, u run out of ap fast.
Dont underestimate the fun of smooth gameplay. You could argue that before every change, there should be one simple question asked first, which is: "is it fun?".

I assume they are going to decrease the time between the end of GCD and the following AP tick. Right now it feels a bit too long. You can really feel the waiting, which gives the current gameplay its somewhat slow, clunky feeling.
I believe that should be enough to fix the problem. Having to stop spamming abilities to regen AP gives the combat depth. You have to decide whether it's better to finish the enemy quickly with AP you have, but risk running out before the fight is over, or to go for slower but steady DPS you can keep up for a long time.
The time you have to wait right now is just a bit too long. It inhibits the flow.

AP Regen isn’t something that can just be changed, increased or decreased, without a balance shift as every class to a certain degree relies on the management of AP - which is something players have brought up since the patch.
Its something the developers are aware of but for now we’ve got a quick change coming through and will be monitored moving forward.
