1. Emote spame at one another
2. Order or Destroy standing around in a small or large group and no one is attacking
3. Jumping up and down at each other.
4. If you are 100 Grudge/Hate punted, it means go away. Also if snared away from the two trying to 1v1
5. No heals no guards
6. Cool to watch dont get in on other fights

Yeah, i sometimes try to imagine the quality of the fights if no thirrd warband joins in to overwhelm. Really sad that this is virtually never the case.

Thats why you should have warband vs warband scenarios, people are too thirsty for crests/kills to let there be a nice even fight in rvr.

new players get rekt by old 80+ chars all the time and they see 2 ppl do 1v1 they gona join cos they need renow and loot... they are new players... old players are 80+ full gear they can watch your fight cos they dont need anything from you... its just normal logic...
And if you are refering to we/wh solo spec ganking ppl in aoe wb spec thats not 1v1 its gank, cos one side i ready for 1v1 and other is not...

You just made a huge what if. What ifs and maybes are never reasons.

You have a better chance of not having your 1v1s interrupted if you find a quiet corner of the lakes in which to do them. When the mood strikes me to 1v1 I try to beckon the other character into following me away from the main routes.

Otherwise, as noted above, Red is dead. If you try to 1v1 on a major pathway you should expect to get interrupted.

Of course everybody knows this faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than I do however...duels, ganks, and random one v ones are all different phenomena. Thus, the IF/THEN construct.

IF you want to duel with another player, THEN go to the Garden of Quark and have at it. No one can interrupt you there. In an open RvR lake you can do all the bowing, scraping, and genuflecting you want and people will still seek to ruin your experience.

IF you want to gank, THEN watch my Philosophy series of Warhammer Videos and/or my Rules Of Playing A Witch Elf video and emulate the art of ganking. And yes, even the AFKers, because THAT'S the way it IS.

IF you either hunt for or find yourself in a random one v one, THEN you take your chances. You may have time to finish it or you may not.
