This post is about how you can be accidently flagged for RvR with stealthed WH/WE.
No point argueing about how one WH can kill 2 Maras.

I can understand a bit frustration when you want to go PvE and somebody kills you.
If someone want to hunt unflaged player in PVE that way, it will be unfair.
So we can only urge on others don't do that, in these situations.
If u see someone doing PvE dont hunt them, if they are not flagged.
Everybody has right enjoy this game his way.
If its PvE , why not.

As soon as you damage/heal someone that is flagged, you will get flagged, too.
Not sure if it's the same while stealthed though.

Went back and did some testing with this. Made sure I was unflagged, in PVE area and found a flagged enemy. When I AOE'd near the enemy, he took damage and I became flagged. So (with regards to AOE damage) it makes no difference what you are flagged. What matters is what the enemy is flagged as he can force you into PVP, if he is flagged, or resist all your damage if he isn't flagged. I'm surprised this has never happened to me before as it's a great way to grief people farming in PVE. How long has it been this way?

Well..i got killed by a WL in locked zone Caledor in PVE road to PQ.. Things like that happens all the time and last time i reported they didnt nothing...so yea.

If your friend was flagged for pvp, you'd become flagged too wihtout notice. It happened to me some times on Gunbad entrance. Once the opponent hitted my friend, the rest of the team became flagged. I don't know if it's right or a bug tho. My guess it's part of the mechanic. And once you or your friend hitted the WH, you both became flagged.

Despite all the toxic comments about 2 maras dont killing a wh. We all know a good wh with conq and pots can be a PITA. Principally if you're spec'd for aoe for farming. Don't give attention for these trolls.

Unfortunelly, there is not much to do than learn with it and always make sure you and your friend aren't flagged for pvp, which happens often in BC. Also, be alert with enemy proximity when possible and always be ready to fight, changing tactics and equipment.

Mybe it was me and yes you were both PVP flagged (RED on my screen when i saw you). I didnt know that atacking PVP flgged players on PvE area is some kind of rule violation.
If yes im sorry and i promise to report every Destro player who gank me in PvE farm spot (like NE Reikland map - Monstrous Bats wings).

The story is they were unknowingly flagged, no evidence was presented. If you're flagged in PvE you can be attacked. This is part of the game and 1.1 isn't going to apply to it.

I understand what you are trying to say. But how can I present evidence that an order witch stealthed, then hid in range of my mara AOE, causing me to unknowingly flag myself, then attack me. It seems like I would have to be on his account to prove it. He was stealthed so I never saw him, never knew he was there, until he caused me to unintentionally flag myself then he was there attacking me. I mean I have the video of me killing mobs in PVE, and then me being attacked and dying but without seeing his account what can be proved?

To further try and explain, is this analysis correct?:

In PVE: Unflagged player attacks flagged player, the unflagged player is automatically flagged and can be attacked.
Flagged, stealthed witch player stands in AOE range of unflagged player
Unflagged player becomes flagged and witch player (or any opposing player) can attack
Unflagged player had no intention of flagging, was flagged untentionally by opposing side against their will
Unflagged played killed if they lose the fight

Is this currently the case? It would be helpful to know as people would use a lot more precaution in PVE and expect these attacks.

In other MMO's you can't get flagged for PvP, using AoE - Had no idea that was the case in WAR/RoR. While not a huge issue, it is a bit scuffed if that's really the case.
