Advice for 2h Iron Breaker

Hello, I started on the last 2xp weekend and am almost max level. I have been using full vengeance up to grudge born fury but was wondering lately about doing a bit more grumble and mutter. My questions are:

1.) What gear should i be grinding towards for more tankiness? 2.) Strength or weapon skill? 3.) Do I aim for full sets or combo?

I'm currently rr40 something and I have some annihilator, redeye, and ruin. I'm at work right now so I can't remember everything I have but can update when I get home.

2h Tank builds really only work at renown 60/70+ with higher end gear. You will be too squishy in ruin gear with a 2hander to guard others against established players as it is quite outdated armor now. You should just go sword and board and slot defensive talismans for now and try to be tanky. You really need good equipment, renown levels, talismans, and consumeables to make 2h work.

Start grinding your renown levels and working on your wards and pve and in some time you can pull off the endgame 2h build you want but I don't reccomend you jump into a 2h build as a fresh 40 for any tank class your gonna have a really bad time due to survivability.

Get full Bloodlord set and Crypts and Tunnels influence 2h axe with speed boost proc is good 2h starter set that will last a long time for you and relatively easy to get.
