Hi there folks,
I just came back to RoR after a 4 year hiatus.
Lots have changed (for the good)
I have multiple rank 40 rr 50+ chars but wanna focus on 1, and that raises my question:
What is the current state of realm balance (wanna play the underdog faction).
Also from these classes what is most played /least played? And how are they balanced atm?
- choppa
- magus
- WL
- RP
- SW

Re: Realm balance question
Most played of these is probably Choppa, extremely good in warbands, amazing aoe and utility with chop fasta (cooldown decreaser) and also very good in small scale like scenarios.
Least played is probably Magus, has rly good aoe damage but also struggles because of the fights moving constantly. Magus also has a decent burst rotation/dmg for ST spec but then again, you are way more static compared to a sorc which can also outburst you anyways while being more mobile.

Re: Realm balance question
The most meta DPS would be choppa and WL. Choppa still needs a group, but will shine the brightest. WL can be a good in a group or solo. Magus has a good ST build, but you need the right rotation to make it work and that generally requires you to sit still, which this game is against for some reason. The magus has less burst than a sorc, but has more survivability and less group dependency.
Re: Realm balance question
Thanks guys,,
So as I hear, Destro needs help? And magus should be an option?
(4 years ago Destro was dominating the server lol)

Re: Realm balance question
des doesn't really -need- magus, it relies on sorcs and choppas. i mean play whatever you want but a lack of maguses doesn't mean that there are grps crying out for them
