Well, the lack of interest on the forum is troubling, but I plan on proceeding with the guild anyway. Expect it to be created and an ad put up on the forums sometime this week.

The thing with WaR is that the RP community left very early. RP wasnt really supported in this PvP focused game. Even if you base the RP totally around RvR you run a real risk of heavily gimping yourself. They tried to add benefits to RP groups in the old Renown specs with faster renown gain for one race parties or killing racial enemies. That was removed when the RPers left though. Due to FotM builds and setups RPers are always going to be hurting their chances.

For what I'm thinking, the RP would take place more in PvE zones and away from the action. Something where RPers can sit down, take their time, and enjoy their characters and storylines. WaR has some great lore and a great world for RP to take place in for those who enjoy it. Of course I would love to have some RvR RP events, but that wouldn't be the focus.

I'm a relatively new player here very interested in getting involved with some RP involving any race.

I'm pretty new here as well, and I'm not really an expert on Fantasy lore, though I'm learning more every day, doing reading, etc. I'm usually interested in more heavy roleplay as well. I'm a massive fan of 40k, but Fantasy is well....I'm still learning. But yeah, I'm definitely interested in roleplay, and I think I know enough lore so far to get my by.

New as in I'm joining today, for my first time.

See you all somewhere! (I hope!)

If you want some slight rp join ever wednesday the engineer event or on 9.9 the elf event.
We go into the rvr But before we have some roleplay in regiment training.

I thank you for the mention. We are just that, but we are around from time to time.
It's true about the RP'ing community, something I foresaw happening once Tier 2 was to arrive. Those that play hard RVR dominate the Advice Chat and take away any hope of RP'ing in an open server. The best method IS the Guild/Alliance method in order to keep any kind of community together and active ... but it takes alot of work.
