i lost my war crest

I seem to have a severe case of war crest leaking. it appears i have 111 war crest. My team captured fang breaka swamp in marshes of madness and it said in loot chat area 'you have received 25 war crest for capturing the keep.' I look into my bag again and it went from 111 to 116 war crest. Even though it says i won 25. I seem to be leaking war crest like fire hydrant.

This isn’t just a case of the visual bug - where number digits are missing?

To check, shift-right click your stack of crests to split them and the actual number should show.

It could explain why getting 40 crests only increased from 116 to 120 - simply because in actuality, it’s in increasing from 1160 to 1200. It’s just not showing that last digit in the stack.

I thought it could be a visual bug as well, but I wonder how a lv 21 character could have more than 1k crests this early in game...

I got +1k on lvl 25 without even focus farming it so it is possible. But he clearly say he got 111 at the opening post and it is kinda impossible to get over 1k without realise

He initially mentions that he last he checked, he was sure he had over 700 crests - which now, some time later, seems to have dwindled to 111. So it could make sense that he now actually has 1k+ crests - which shows as only 111 crests, due to the visual bug.

The visual bug tend to kick in when your crest stack gets above 999. It can also happen for regular stacks of potions etc - where it looks like you suddenly only have 1 potion left, until you try and split it. That normally restores the actual stack number, if I recall correctly.
