He's saying some xrealmers organise push fort, and before fort happens, abandon clueless pugs to log organised defense and farm those pugs.

You understand it wrong, what people mean is the situation where organised warbands push for the fort (as attacking side that has bigger numbers) and than after keep gets taken they switch side leaving pugs on their own in order to farm them from another side (causing the defending side to now have the power of organised warband) and if one is known is that pugs are afraid of pushing soo they will never kill the lord it will end after second wipe when everyone starts to leave and defenders will push out to farm the people that are still there.

It happens from time to time and it should not be ignored. (Because xrealmers are not the holy people you try to make them)

On NA times I see that on happening on both sides tbh, once you spawn ram and whole destro goes order and other time order spawns ram and somehow you get 3 full pugs on destro.

What I believe is the issue is when one realm is pushing hard to the fort. Then right as the last keep is about to fall "many" people or groups disappear that had been leading the charge or at least majorly supporting it. Then the "pushing" realm is usually outnumbered or outclassed, sometime both. This seems to happen in the US playtimes often.

On the other hand, if they don't switch sides it still a stomp, just for the pushing side instead. Forts are broken, no real reason to do them.

Maybe put in a 20 min realm timer on logout, instead of log in that doesn't seem to curb this behavior.


The issue probably stems from low population during US times. 14-18 people swapping toons during an EU fort.. normally not an issue. 14-18 guys swapping during US, bigger issue.

ORVR shall only be engaged using one faction per day, if you log with your other faction you will end being a chicken as soon as you enter orvr zone.

You can still have toons in both factions, you can enjoy pvp in scenarios or even PVE but you can only interfere in the battlefield with one different faction each day.

People with two guilds, one in each faction can program themselves and log each day with the desired faction, once the clock turns 24hrs after your last log you can select the other faction and use it in oRvR.

Its easy, gives options and we can just end this nonsense of log in / log off to win only.

That would cause issues in multiplayer households, just so you're aware. My son and I both play. His lockout timers apply to my account and vice versa.

In my humble opinion as mere servant of the almighty FMJ xrealming network, we need to drag Wargrimnir off his throne and crucify him for allowing this xrealming that has been allowed to plague our realm for far too long, perma-lock accounts to one faction, crucify players with two accounts

I agree that x-realmers are a problem. I have noticed that they (the x-realmers) have gained more and more power as if late. I believe they need to be exiled from everything that is connected to RoR. While we find out who is a x-realmer and who is not I believe it would be good if we added a small flag to their pfp. From this perspective we could identify who wrote what and if they were biased x-realmers or not.
